I have played now 528 matches (under stats), but I still haven't spent any money on the game. I probably will at some point, to get some mech lab bays open. I really wish they would fix the netcode, social -system and the launcher/mechlab generally...

At some point I nearly quit, but then I started playing with friends. Then it all started to make sense.

Now I am part of a Finnish 8vs8 group, Ajatar Syndicate -> http://ajatarsyndicate.enjin.com/ - and on 8vs8 the game took a totally different turn. From chaos to order. Although I still enjoy playing with 2-4 man PuG stomps too. Fun builds instead of effective.

It's finished enough to call it a beta, I agree. But they could have kept it in closed for few months longer. The netcode aka lagshield via speed where you actually need to aim air to hit targets, and the fact that you can degrade your connection which causes the porting/teleporting in game, certainly are core issues that need to be addressed.

Also the launcher in general is total crap, with the mechlab & launch -bugs, not to even mention the 13th level of Hell aka Social -menu/system.

I completely understand what he means by calling it an alpha. :>

It's not the cost of the MC, it's the value you get for it and the cost of the items. This doesn't make me any more eager to purchase items with my cash than before. If anything it lowers the value of my remaining founders MC!

Make what I'm buying a better value and I'll spend the cash. Make the paint and camo purchases permanent (higher value) to my accound and I'm there. The same reasoning that I bought the founders package (permanent four mechs, permanent c-bill bonus) applies to my future purchases.

It's not about the cost, it's about the value I get from the purchase.

Anyone who has enough faith or love for mechs to invest in an unfinished game deserves 20% bonus mechcredits
The 20% bonus should be extended untill the game is fully operational and leaves the beta testing stage

Very valid point! However. If you think about it, you still spend the same ammount but get more. For example. last time I spent 200 bucks on the Black friday. I got a total of 60k MechCredits, I got an additional 10k MC out of that which is I think around 30 or 40 bucks worth of MC I cant really remember the exact difference. So later on down the line when they stop having sales. That extra cash i would be spending on MC, well basically isnt needed. So I suppose in the long run I do end up saving money. Good point though wouldnt mind seeing a sale where you spend 20% less on MC.

I must admit that I hear my teammates talk all the time about grinding for the next mech they would really like to try. This is beta and it seems a little hard to 'work' on limited content just to try out a mech. I would appreciate the ability to buy MC and gift it to some of my friends and mates. Just saying - I WOULD BUY MORE MC!
