I actually like the Yen-Lo-Wang paint scheme. It's distinctive, and canon.
But I like your suggested paint scheme.

I'd be OK with ECM, as long as they release another fast ECM heavy (that you can buy with C-bills) within a month, at most.

"DRG-2Y Dragon Yorioshi - The personal ‘Mech of Benjamin Military District commander Warlord Syovo Yorioshi during the DCMS's Third Succession War invasion of Galtor III, all the standard weaponry of a Dragon save the left-arm mounted Medium Laser has been removed. Instead a Large Laser is mounted in the right arm, a Small Laser in the head and a SRM-4 and Flamer mounted where the LRM rack would normally be. With a single ton of SRM reloads, the weight saved allows five extra heat sinks to be carried and three more tons of armor to be added."

Fire breathing dragon sweet might actualy leave the flamer in this one.

And this is why stock mechs suck in this game. Large Laser, Small Laser, SRM4, and a Flamer. Good Job mech designers.

Wasn't a fake screenshot. I saw the entries yesterday, but they were only up for about an hour before being removed from the site. I suspect that the tonnage is simply a placeholder; not sure we're getting two dragons.

Never said I liked the load out just the only Dragon I could find that had a flamer in the CT. Since it should have a dragon head face paint for the flame to shoot from.

After almost 20 years we get the Return of
Double Dragon!
Now I'm anxious to find out what the loadouts are.

Me too brother... I presonally think that the Dragon is the most flexible mech in the game; and needs much more love!

Warlord Syovo Yorioshi (DRG-2Y) and Warlord Grieg Samsonov (AS7-WGS Samsonov), both of the Draconis Combine, fought during the battle of Galtor III. They both lived, but their side lost. Yorioshi wasn't exactly described as being 'heroic' in battle, but he was able to keep the remnants of the Benjamin Regulars alive during retreat off planet.
The Grand Dragon is a more refined, updated, sleeker chassis that probably would require an entirely new 3D model. It also doesn't have enough variants (3 or more) to put into the game at this time.
My guess for what Fang and Flame are:
Flame - Yorioshi's DRG-2Y (with the flamer), they could go wild with this paint scheme, Benjamin Regular Insignia, Draconis Combine paint scheme, and a dragon mouth on the CT where the flamer is.
Fang - ? Best guess is Minobu Testsuhara, of the Wolf's Dragoons (hence "Fang?"). He piloted a regular DRG-1N though, so I don't see what would be special about it, other than a paintscheme.
I'm probably wrong though and my dreams of new canon-hero mech's will be crushed with non-canon designs.

I predict a double shot of "OMG teh [paint scheme/name/backstory] on [new hero mech] is teh offensive to [obscure group of whiners]!!!1!!!!!" threads myself. Based on the hero mechs so far, anyone wanna bet against me?
