I'm in a Dragon-1N supporting an ECM Atlas, with a couple other heavies in our 4 mech core. We work our way to upper city, taking out two mech teams as we go (while our other teammates where out capping and getting owned). Finally we confront the opposing team's 4 mech core, and function as a nice cohesive unit, staying out of each other's way, focusing fire, and taking hits where we need to.
It came down to me versus the other team's Atlas - he was crit on torso, but still had all weapons, and i was pretty much red all over. Somehow, I choked back my killer instinct and let some strategic thinking take over. I knew I had 7 others watching me and wanted to make sure I wasn't too noobish in my dealings with this giant.
I ran from alley to alley, getting a lock for my LRM10, and let a couple volleys go when I was open enough. I did this for a minute, trying to stay on his sides and back, succeeding most of the time but not always. He landed a couple hits on me, and took out my LRM and pulse lasers. I still had my AC10 though, so I wasn't givin up yet.
Call it luck, or call it skill, but for the final shot I had my torso twisted to 9 o'clock, running at 80, and came out perfectly lined up on him as I popped out of an alley. I pull the trigger, hear the cannon ring out, and score a direct hit on his torso. I thought I had been killed at first as my mech stopped, but then I watched him stop too, and fall forward on his face.
I had 2 kills and 6 assists that game, but landing that perfect shot and watching the giant topple has (so far) been the most rewarding takedown yet.

I volunteered to go back and deal with the base. I run back, expecting to find an ECM Raven or some similar light. But no, it is a Centurion CN9-D, with and LBX-10, 2 SRM-4s, 2 medium lasers, and a large engine. I manage to clip his LBX-10 off (nearly losing my precious right hunch in the porcess), and he begins running off. I chase him down, thinking my 90 kmph Hunchback might be able to keep up long enough to kill him, but unfortunately he gets away.
I start paying attention to my team again just in time to hear our last guy go down. Score is 5 to 7. I'm the last one left against an injured enemy Atlas and 2 damaged Centurions. I work my way up to the Atlas, which thankfully had his AC-20 removed. I quickly make short work of his SRMs, leaving him completely weaponless. Unfortunately, I had to do some fancy torso twisting and now my left torso is almost destroyed too.
I see the red on my screen as two medium lasers hit my back. I quickly turn around to see the Centurion from before duck behind a building. Another Cent is coming up the street, firing its lasers at me now. I leave the Atlas for later, and turn behind a building before the Centurion can destroy my hunch. I run into the first Centurion again and alpha strike into his striped right torso. He explodes. Guess he had an XL engine.
I see the last Centurion come into view and fire his lasers again. I twist to reduce the damage. We engage in a short brawl of twisting and turning to reduce damage, but I eventually destroy him by overheating with an alpha strike to the center torso.
At that point the game was over. "GG"s were said by all as I hunted down the clipped Atlas. One of the enemies said something along the lines of "That was painful to watch." I caught up to the Atlas, which was heading for our base, and cored him, game, set and match.
I have always been a diehard Hunchback-4SP fan since closed beta, but now the 4P has earned itself a permanent place in my garage.

Bam. No more Commando!
Or, basically any kill which involves me shooting a light mech (Or Cicada) with SRMs, and watching it explode into a million tiny pieces..

Commando was trying to cap a point on Caustic Valley and he was the last one on his team. Him and I were overheating to shutdown trying to get the kill. Last shot of the match was my SRMs with a hip shot. Cored him and watched his mech bounce over a hill.
That or a SRM snap shot at point blank on an ilya muromets that ended being a headshot. First kill of the match, in the tunnel of Frozen City.

I just shot at the red squares. I did 400+dmg, got a kill and survived the match.
Was pretty happy with that one.

ECM raven running by with their typical sense of immortality, without considering that a 40ms ping cuts nicely through lag shields.
BOOM! Raven bits fly everywhere. It's almost sexual.

It was probably the funniest kill I have ever gotten.

An ECM Commando was circling an Atlas on my team about 500m away. LRM boats prevent me from breaking cover to close the distance to help. The Atlas is screaming for help because he can't hit the little ******* so I start trying to snipe him. After 5 misses of 2 PPCs at a time, I get pissed and fire all 4 of my PPCs. The Commando then exploded. I was no longer angry.
