I just managed 6 kills in a match on Forest Colony in my CTF-3D (4LL), including winning 4v1 at the end.

The highlight was managing to pull a TopGun move on a dragon that was chasing me - I ran off the edge of the bridge near the low/lakeside base, the one with the two big arches/tunnels under it; as soon as I hit the ground I hit all-stop then full reverse, and the dragon came flying off the bridge in pursuit and landed in front of me as I backed into one of the tunnels. I hit him with one pair of LL but he ran off before I could do more damage - however his teammate in another dragon did exactly the same thing a moment later, and as he was down to bare red internals on his CT I killed him with one shot.

At that point it was down to 2v1 and both enemies were capturing the base, so I ran up the hill next to the tower and managed to land 4 LL into the bright red right torso of the remaining dragon - which killed him, so he must've had an XL engine (which would explain why he zoomed off the bridge so fast earlier).

One rookie piloting a Stalker (that I managed to strip both torso and all weapons from) later, match win.

I was watching the cave entrance from D4 on Frozen City and a Jenner came flying around the corner. I took a pot shot with my K2 (Dual AC/20s) and got a cockpit hit and Jenner died within 30 seconds of the match starting.

Using twin AC/10s to blow the leg off a fully armored, full speed Raven and then finishing him off as he tried to hobble away.

Getting a headshot kill on a scout 500m away that is running full tilt. I was extremely proud and kind of shocked I managed to actually pull that shot off considering I'm not actually that good at sniping. Hell even if it wasn't a headshot it would still rate as one of my most satisfying kills because I love just popping obnoxious lights with heavy weapons like they were so many soap bubbles.

Light pilots have so much going for them right now that its just beautiful when something like this happens in my opinion. The scout runs across your field of vision you just pull the trigger hoping it hits and it does and the destroyed metal hulk of the once peppy light mech falls over and skids across the ground or through the water.

Like I said ... its beautiful.

Dropped in my ac20 K2 on river city only to have the HUD bug. Turned it off and carefully followed my team, focussing on whatever the friendly atlas shot at. A commando kept harassing us, but no one could get a good shot. We made it to the enemy cap only to have that damned commando setup shop with us, spinning around and pewpewing our backs. I got fed up and memorized the guy's pattern, shifted into position and fired both ac20s. BOOM!! Direct hit and goodbye commando! Making that shot is normally hard enough with a HUD and targeting reticle, so making it without was just Great!

My favorite kill has been in my c1f1. My cat's armed with erppcx1,ams,lrm 15x1, 2/4jj, 13hs, std 260 engine and 394/422 armor. I'm puging in caustic trying to use in game team chat to organise and form a plan. No one listens or tries. They do the death march towards the enemy base and begin to get rolled. I try staying back using the lrms 15s untill the enemy kills 5 of my side.

I say screw it and charge. I get ganged on as I cross the ridge and in last act of war alpha blindly. My ppc hit an opossing cat that was just watching me get hammered in the cockpit slaying it instally seconds before I die. End match screen shows zero kills or assists for my team except for me. One kill. One kill and I've shoved an erppc into all my cats that can mount it. It certanly has frighted off a lot of lights.

I have been getting all kinds of satisfaction out of 4 AC/5s in my Phract. I was initially wowed by the rof and pure "dakka-dakka" of 4xAC/2s but I gave 4 AC/5s a try and I will never look back.

Had a great kill on River City Night. I started on the dock side. Our team went across the water and came up to the city. It was dark as hell. Down a city street I all of a sudden see some PPC and AC shots fly at us, we all take some hits... My team backs up and seems to be withdrawing. I step up to the plate and let it rip with those 4 AC/5s. I don't know what I was shooting at... But ever it was, it went down before I could think of what to do next.

I have other stories from the last week. But this is what stands out in my memory right now. 4x AC/5s are like a cheap *** ceramic Yoshi blade cutting through a tomato or something. I got a Stalker on the 18th... but I don't really care. I really like my 4X Phract.

I had lost both my arms on my founders cat, and I had taken out everything but a small laser for extra ammo.

hunchback came rolling up on me, I jacked my speed up took an AC round to the torso, but bowled him over then just kept taking the hits so I could continue to ram him and drop him till the rest of my team showed up back near the base to put him down.

Forest colony in my Commando 3A, match started and me and a Jenner go river, I blast apart an enemy Jenner as the lasers and missles start flying from both teams; base is getting capped so I run back and two-shot an unlucky enemy Commando trying to ninja-cap. Run back into the fray right into a SRM Cat and finish him off with my SRMs before running back into the messy mid-river brawl. I'm not quite sure about the rest of it, but finally it was down to me, a friendly Raven, a VERY healthy enemy Atlas and an enemy Cataphract. We start doing the circle of death, and I realize I'm out of missles as ballistics blast off my left arm, leaving me with...1 small laser. That Raven and I spent the next 5 minutes finishing the 'phract and systematically tearing the Atlas apart, blasting off his arms, side torsos, CT/Rear armor, and finishing him...with a small laser. Ended with the match 500+ damage, 4 kills, 4 assists...in a Commando. Best match *ever* in that damn thing.

For me, I was piloting my Raven 4x with jump jet and an AC 20. Going up the 3-4 line on River City map. I turned a building corner and locked onto a Centurion standing on the bridge/ramp that collapsed in the middle. Pumped an AC round into CT and kept running towards him, he turned and fired back, missing me. Just before I passed underneath him, looking nearly straight up, I took a wild shot with my AC 20 again, hitting him square in the jollies. I slowed my throttle and started to jump jet over that small hill, and torso twisted to my left. The Centurion had back peddled 50-60 meters when I crested the hill, and was nearly square in my sights. While in mid air, we both fired, his shot hitting me square in the head, and my shot into his chest and he was cored. The Centurion fell flat on his back just as my mech lighted onto the ground, missing a bunch of head armor.

It's either the long distance shot I made with an AC20 and by chance hitting a Commando who was running horizontal to my position and watching as his smoldering carcass slid across the ground.

An epic fight where my enemy and I exchanged fire and severely damaged each other, which he blew off my arms and all I had was a single small laser left, which I shot a single time and managed to core him.

My first was coring a fresh a streak mando that came running in to harass me an my buddy with a AC/20, and my second was ,sitting on top of a hill in "Caustic" in my catapult watching the battle and hear my base is being captured,turn to see a jenner running around like a goose on crack slipping in between the building ,so I launched a full salvo of 30 missles and guided em, right into his fast little backside, he went up on a full salvo.lol..oh then my buddy who was still firing LRM's at other opponents warned me and i turned and we poured LRM death on an advancing cataphract ,after that we were over run by the rest of the opposing team.

On Caustic in my Ilya, was stuck circling with this Cent the other night when he blew himself up right before I got the chance to, freeing me up to attend to the basecapping in progress. On my way down the slope I notice an enemy Catupult moving in towards the cap, across open ground. I stopped, fipped on advanced zoom since he was at 700m or so, lined up my shot and smacked him in the back of the head with dual PPC, dropping him on his face. We lost the match, but it was nice to wipe at least one of the smiles off their faces from that far out. I involuntarily cheer sometimes when I'm spectating and.see one of my teammates get a nice kill, and since I was the last one standing I like to think at least one of my teammates got a kick out of this one since it was pretty clean.

Circle-strafing an atlas in reverse, letting him shoot my rear armor (only thing I had left), in my cored out 4SP, and taking him out.

Hitting a Jenner in midair with my AC20 and watching it tumble from the sky.

kill a commando by far makes me the happiest in the game especially when there running and think that i cant still lag shoot.

invisible mechs bug + invisible buildings bug in river city (figured that out later) 3 kills chasing red squares

other day in my wang gaus 2 mpl ran to stop the cap in frozen city south side got there in time to see 2 cicadas with ecm and a jenner off another wang, no one else there target jenner 1st seems relativly undamaged but doesnt see me, 1st shot he is confused 2nd he starts running, 3rd he dies just as im about to lose him, then target one of the cicadas and he has full armor, he makes the mistake of backing straght up and i get a couple clean shots, then he starts running. him and the other cicada circling then the one i have targeted gets stuck on the cap oil rig thingy line up, not sure how his armor is since i heep losing target, i pull both triggers 2 mpl fire immediately as the 2nd cicada that i was ignoring for the moment crosses my path killing it, then the gaus goes off a split second later killing the 1st cicada, i just sat there for a sec not believing my luck.

of course i am very proud of all the kills i got in mpbt 3025 in my ac20 urbie, 5 rounds of ammo and 1 small laser and almost zero armor leaves no room for error

I've had 2 satisfying kill experiences with my Crapaphract (as I like to call it) which just has 4 medium lasers and 2 LB-10x ACs.

The first one was on Forest Colony where most of the battle was going on in the water and I was inland. I had both a Fang and Flame fighting me and they had the nerve to leg me so I could hardly move. I did my best to move around and took shots at either one that passed by my cannons. Eventually I managed to leg one of them, turn around and core shot kill one, and then turn around to finish off the legged one. Their deaths were 5 seconds apart. I had no help.

My second experience was today on Frozen City where there was a big battle going on. I fired both my LB-10x at once and got a double kill.

Of course this was just 2 satisfying moments during my mostly frustrating experiences with this buggy game.

Every single time I one shot a mech with my 6ppc stalker... Ahh so brilliant and it happens very often as well
