Forest Colony (before they changed it and added the ship in the water). I was Dual Gauss sniping from the water in a K2 at heat blobs so far away I couldn't even lock them. The blob I was peppering moved behind cover just as another one lumbered into line of sight. I shifted the reticule, clicked, and...

Kerrisis has killed (x).

...down goes an Awesome, sans head. About 10 seconds later a simple "wtf?!" appeared in Global chat. You couldn't have gotten the grin off my face with a crowbar!

I've also managed to leg Commandos and Jenners at similar distances. That's always immensely satisfying. :(

Edit: Oh, and face to face ball-kicking contests with Atlases in my 6xSRM6 Cat was always amusing. 80% of the time I'd be the one walking away.

Destroyed a Raven, Jenner and Cicada with my AC-20 Hunchback in about 30 seconds. One of them even flew nicely when hit. Some of the best time I've had in this game.

The most satisfying kill I've ever made was when I was in a AWS-9M. A Jenner was trying to get behind me with little to no health left in it's right torso. I'd aimed my PPC just right to ammo core him. I was promptly massacred by the enemy team because I was the last man standing on my team, but it was still the best feeling I've had in a while in my MechWarrior career.

Almost dead, override shutdown, one last alpha, take out the last enemy mech... victory! ... and then watch my mech explode and fall over in the background on the victory screen.

Piloting an awesome LRM boat 4-lrm 15's I sent 60 lrms after a centruion, the salvo hit just as he passed by a legged raven and BOOM, DOUBLE KILL, the only time i ever managed to kill more than one at a time, it was sweet! Dont think i could have done it better on purpose.

Blasting a Jenner out of mid air with a duel Gauss blast too the face. Seriously, luckiest head shot every, but so satisfying.

Got one more fun one thanks to rag doll. think it was cent crossing water in a major fight. His left torso towards me was breached. I take a snap shot barley hitting the mech. But I hit something AMMO BABY. I see the guy run a little further and I see sparks and them BOOM the left torso goes up in smoke and the mech is tossed to the right like a rag doll in one of the most dramatic ammo explosions I have seen. Must have had a lot of ammo ad no case. I think the mech landed head first and flipped or something. but he went sideways a good ways form the force of the explosion. It was a pure luck shot but so sweet

My team was dead and I was approaching the enemy base. The opposing team had two mechs left, both heavies, a Cat and an Atlas. I'm in a cat and am pretty beat up. They are both at the base waiting to greet me with laser muffin hospitality. I arrive thinking I don't stand a chance, but what the hell.

I take out the other cat with a couple volleys of lasers, then turn from the last shot as I see him go down to a view of the Atlas at point blank range and ready to bury me.

But I shoot first with my AC 20 and he goes down. Game over. We win!

This is why you should always fight to The End. You just never know what might happen.

Killiing two cicadas trying to take our base while I was driving my atlas. They were doing the fast mech circle jerk and I backed my self to a building in front of the cap base thing and kept taking and receiving pot shots until they both died. (RS Double arm lasers for the win!) They both died to extreme side twist laser shots after about circling me 15 or so times.

My team was pushing forward while I was flanking the enemy in forest colony. I jumped off the arch in my Jenner onto a Dragon while blind firing below myself. I killed the Dragon and everyone thought I DFA'd him.

My most spectacular kill was reported to me by a teammate. He was circling an atlas about 1200M away and requested support. I was in my Cataphract and shooting over an obstacle and could barely see the top of the atlas' head. Apparently both my slugs nailed him solidly in the back of the head and he dropped like a stone. He couldn't believe that 1) I'd made the shot, since he couldn't even see me behind the hill, and 2) That I'd landed it exactly where the shot needed to go (the only part of the atlas that was severely damaged was CT Rear). He said it was akin to watching someone get heatshotted from behind by a sniper at 1000 yards.

My most satisfying kill was this very highly skilled Jenner that has been pestering me all game. He was very good - did a lot of drive bys and forced me to take defensive actions rather than shoot his teammates. Since I only have 2 gauss and 2 ML on my Cataphract, I was only grazing him with the lasers here and there. Eventually, he circled around a building, giving me time to line up a shot before he was even visible, and I took out one of his legs with my gauss. I then took my time and did a headshot for the kill. I told him after I thought he was a great pilot, and that I looked forward to seeing him again. While I find lights really annoying, I can respect a great light pilot when I see one.

Most satisfying kill... took me minute to a remember, but this was back in closed beta, the day "Dragon Bowling" went away, I dropped for the first time in a Dragon.

However, there was at the time a bug where the mechlab wouldn't save properly... well I wound up dropping in a Dragon with no weapons. No woosh, no dakka, no pew-pew.

So I figured I'd run around and let my team mop up... maybe get in a knockdown or two.

Wound up with a Hunchback who started chasing me around and wouldn't let go. He'd been damaged previously, with his right torso pretty much stripped of armor, but with no weapons I couldn't do anything...

Until I decided "What the heck, I'm gonna ram him."

So juked and pulled a hard right, did most of a full circle...

And caught him full on his right torso. Down he went, I heard the crunch and thought "Yay, I can get away..." but that was immediately followed by the "Jiffy-pop in a can" sound of an ammo explosion... and I looked up and saw the kill message...

That was satisfying.

This evening. River City, Night, conquest. And everybody seems to be using thermal vision on that map. We're up on points by a fair margin but down on mechs. I'm driving a dual AC20 Cat. We've got enough of a margin for me to be able to hole up near Epsilon, train my crosshairs on the point, dim the cockpit lights and power down. I've no comms, no map, only what I can see out of my canopy windows. Occasionally I'll power up for a couple of seconds to check the map and see what's happening.

After about two minutes, along comes a Jenner, looking to cap Epsilon by himself and be a little hero. He has a quick look around, but I'm all nice and cold and don't show up on thermals. So I wait for him to settle down and stop, power up and - well, no more Jenner.

To cap it all, just as we're about to tick over and win on points, one of my dead team-mates types "he actually did the power down spider kills the fly trap!" It was a real kick to know that people had stuck around to watch the end of the game instead of just quitting.

Have one.

As the match started, I had a baby emergency, so I ran over to the kid room and took care of things.
When I came back, I saw the game was still ongoing, fairly balanced, and an enemy Mech (I think it was a Jenner) was attempting a base cap, thinking I was AFK/ DCed.
I saw him turning toward me, as I had been perfectly still since coming back, probably thinking about shooting me appart slowly.
I swiftly took control, aimed in one move, and alpha'ed him (probably cockpit), he went down in one hit.

That did feel pretty good :)
