I'm in a gausscat. My gauss ammo is gone, I run back to base to save a cap, and I discover an atlas sitting there. I out-brawl him with my 2 small lasers.

How could that be satisfying... I would feel nothing but pity for the sad noob atlas.

My most satisfying?
I had a 6 kill game not too long ago running at 15 fps. That felt pretty good.

Last night was quite satisfying. I was running my Atlas RS, oppossing team had three ECM commandos. I took my time as they circled around me and killed all three with AC20 shots.

Runner up would be a round I had a few weeks ago with my AC20 Cicada. Killed a Cataphract 1X and Hunchie 4P and just ran out of ammo before a SRM Cat got me. Good times!

No hud, me and an ally vs 1 enemy, last players on the map. Have a gauss cat, have to decide which to kill (both are smoking). Ended up having weird ballistics conversion and one shot hit each mech as the two were very close. A victory, albeit a messy one.

I'm hoping there is a typo in there somewhere, and you weren't really trying to decide between killing the one remaining enemy and your own teammate at the end of a battle. :/

i have 2 kill, 1 stalling and 1 kill me already stories.

first was back near the end of closed beta. river city, my team was closing on the enemy base. 1 by 1 we dropped until i was left on the bridge side of thier base (we started at the docks). they had an hunch in base and a awesome that was slowly comming to help. iwas in my -AL cent with ll spl and lrms. i targeted the hunch and went back and forth from my hiding spot firing lrms then lasers.did this about 3-4 times. he dies. 2 seconds later, that awesome appears in front of me near the ship. blasted with my ll and spl once, he falls into the tunnel area. we circle to get better firing lines. i go above the tunnel and fie 1-2 blasts from my lasers. he dies. 3 kills in that hard match.

second was after the first "reboot". i was in a trial dragon, caustic map, match going very badly for my team. 2 or 3 of us left. i decide the heck with it, and charge into the six mech lance. this clearly surprised them since i got right into them and took out 2 of them with ac-ml headshots before they killed me. we lost but was fun.

caustic again, this time in my 7-F jenner, scouting 1 side of volcano. pops out 4 mechs, a cent was the lightest of them. i held them at bay for what seemed like 10 min. my team comes tosave me. armor all orange/red at the end. we win.

river valley in my -1B commando. i was the last 1 left with 4 heavies trying to kill me while i run around them. it them 5 min. just to rip my arms off. i say "well?" just to get them to kill me already. 40-50 seconds later they finally kill me. such fun!!! :D

For me it is back at Caustic map, when my whole team was wipe out and i am the only guy left with five opponant still standing, I already had a kill earlier, used my Cat to go to the enemy base, before i get there I killed a light mech with one shot, and then killed two of medium mech, one a head shot another a few rounds with my AC20s.

At this point one of the enemy team member call me an @@shole.. but he is dead..

then I ran out of ammo, and got nailed with only four small laser working. So i killed half of the team...

Just tonight I was in a raven and got legged. I turned to face cataphract that shot me, fired a full alpha into his heavily damaged CT and took him out, then I turned and did the same to an Atlas that was probably in too much of a hurry to 'get the kill' and fired as he was moving and twisting his torso, I also finally managed to fire of a couple streaks and finish off a heavily damaged commando....before something just blasted me to hell.

...I just got kinda lucky, but man it was pretty satisfying to have a heavily damaged light totally gimped and get three kills in under 10 seconds.

Another personal favorite was a brawl with a cataphract, both of us were damaged, fired off well placed shots and we got each other LOL... I got a screen shot of that somewhere.

EDIT: Oh yeah there was that one round the other night where I didn't get any markers over friendly or enemy mechs, though I could still target things and had streaks, so I'd just target something and run around pointing at mechs, listening to the sound and once I had a lock I'd fire one off, then I'd fire the lasers at the mech the streaks hit. I think I managed a couple kills that round.

one time i killed an awesome, an atlas, 2 ravens, a catapult, a cataphract, and won the game on caustic valley with all my teammates down and i had no CT armor left on my CPLT-A1... so lesson learned is that srmcats should be your first, not your last

the 4-man i was with was now asking me if they could attend the Khan School of Mechpiloting. :D

Back in closed beta, when collisions were still around, I was in a Jenner fighting a Hunchback. At one point, by which we were both quite damaged, while the Hunchback was running in the direction away from me, I attempted to jump-jet over him so I could give the Hunchie a surprise Alpha in the face.

I failed, miscalculating the distance.

And instead gave the Hunchie a fatal flying kick to the rear torso :D

4 fps bug. Moved onto base then tabbed out. Tabbed back in to a 1-7 score with a catapult standing still shooting me from about 50 meters. Turned left and alpha'd him right in the cockpit taking it to red internal, next laser hit killed him. The rest of his armor was yellow. I was in one of my atlases. If part of my alpha hadn't hit the base structure he would have died instantly.

Any kill of a 6x Streak A1 cat while running an ECM mech just because I know that Streak cat pilot is pissed that he can't fire a shot at me.

Sometimes I can't help myself and make a comment about the de-clawed streak-cat.

Was using a dual PPC build on my phract 3D, with 2 ML and an LB10x for close range when I got stuck fighting a brawler Atlas with an AC20, 2 or 3 SRM6s, and a couple LLs. We were the only two mechs left.

One more shot and I was dead. Red internals all over. I had to get some distance between him and me and use the PPCs. When he headed around a building, I turned the other way and jump jetted into the air. He turned toward me right when I got past 90 meters, I fired both PPCs straight into his CT and cored him while doing a mid air turn.

Had 3 people yell "Great Shot", one was on the enemy team :)

Use to be sneaking up  on a base capping Commando from behind, in an Atlas, slowly aiming the AC20 at the back of his head at point blank range, then pulling the trigger. That was until recently, when I had the joy of doing the same to a Jenner with 2 AC20s in a Cat, lol :)

Running a boomcat, I had an enemy raven and hunchie that kept waiting til I was engaged, then would attack my back. They would have had me too, but the raven got cocky, and tried to rush me. He quickly dropped, with a volley to the cockpit. Then the hunchie started circling me just outside my AC20s line of fire, as a pretty woeful awesome pilot stood there trying to hit him. He opened my back, and I opened his chest. I decided to run around the corner, to mix things up a bit. Now the hunchie pilot was smart enough to see an easy target in the stationary awesome (though he should have chased me down), and began to attack it. I noticed this, and took my chance. I turned back around the corner, as the hunchie crossed my ACs, and with a quick 'Boom', he exploded.

I'm still smiling about it...

It was a string of 5 kills on the Forest Colony map. I was in my Founder's Brawler Cat C1 (4MPL, 2SSRM2), and this was before they'd toned down the glowing mechs making it practically zero visibility on that map. Cats were the worst for some reason, and it was doubly bad for the Cat driver. My team was defending the upper base and we got rushed from the cave. The brawl wound up below the base amid the boulders and all of a sudden it was 5v1.

The Jenner died first and quickly, as it had shut down right in front of me after firing an alpha into my last remaining teammate's back, finishing him. A Gaussapult and a trial PPC Awesome showed up. I jumped to get out of it's firing arc and cockpitted the Gaussapult , absorbed the Awesome's PPC alpha when i landed, and then cockpitted it while it stood helpless and shut down before me. A Dragon and a Centurion joined the party, shooting up my backside. The glow was pretty intense by now, but I could still see well enough to core the Dragon with my MPLs and the remainder of my SSRM2s. The Centurion turned out to be a zombie, and so the last dance seemed to go on forever. My cockpit glass was quite black by this point and so I only really knew where the Cent was from seeing my crosshairs go to red when I had it lined up in my sights. I could also get an idea of it's location whenever it fired it's CT-mount LL at me....

With less than 30 seconds on the clock, and every part of me red or orange, I finally managed to core the Centurion, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. I had to go have a little lie-down after that. :)
