[One Medic Army]

Commando 2d Streak/ECM variant did a driveby on my 2x Gauss Cataphract 4X, and then proceeded to run away from me. In a straight line.
I put two gauss rounds into his rear and killed him instantly.

Then there was the lucky 4PPC hit into a random heat blob on Forest Colony, followed by a kill notification and 200xp for headshotting someone. He came into the dropship channel after match to say hi even.

Back in closed beta before the net code got so wonky, I used to love shooting jump jetting Jenners out of mid air with a Gauss Rifle.

Great posts everyone! Nice to hear some battle tales

Mine was on frozen... we were 7-7. I was in an ACcat with no ammo, so i go back to base. Then, an enemy streak commando who also was out of ammo shows up to cap... But since i was there he couldnt. So, instead of just leaving, he tries to stay in the cap doing circles... And after 2 minutes of my whole team on ts going "Stop stop turn turn left right!!!" i finally was able to run him to death!!! (We have no collisions now but contact still does little damage)

Got 7 kills.
I'm the last guy left on my team.
Blow off all the weapons on the last enemy.
Spent a few minutes letting everyone revel in my glory before finishing him off.

Got 5 kills with Wang, it was great because they were one shot kills, I kept getting lucky on pre damaged mechs and think I was the last guy. I kept yelling WANG!!!!!

Also had a game where I was chased by 2 mechs through the cave after they damaged me bad (me in a Cent vs a Hunch and Cent), I did a powerdown, they passed, I powered up killed one with and alpha strike in the back, said to the other guys as he attacked me "youre next" hit him and got a lucky crit hit and killed him too.

Best part is these were both on the same night.

I once hit an catapult so hard, it did a back flip off the ledge where the stream is in forest colony. Was a Glorious site to see.

I had two today.

I was in my Ilya which carries 2 LB AC10s and managed to corner a Hunchback and just kept shotgunning him in the center torso until he died. Shortly after, he replies 'Killed by a Valkyrie. I guess there are worse things in life'

A second was when I was in my lulzy Dual Ultra AC5 Cicada which is bit of a glass cannon when in the chaos of a brawl, I run over a hill and find an Awesome running into battle. I quickly duck behind him and begin to pound round after jammed round into its back while it tried to escape me before bursting from a back core. Just satisfying with a crazy idea works.

Making a Commando explode with SRM's and LBX-10.

Also, during the first match with my shining new CTF-3D. I was out fitted with a Gauss in the torso and 4 medium lasers. The match was down to the last man on the enemy team (a damaged Stalker) and 3 other friendly mechs were chasing after it. I jump jetted and fired off a Gauss round in midair to take the kill. Have been hooked on the Jump Jetting Cataphract ever since.

Just before dying, on River City Night, I killed a Stalker; the kill was so vicious that not only did it forget to fall over, most of the 'Mech was glowing white hot for the rest of the match.

On Forest Colony, I popped a Centurion... the thing is, it actually took a moment for the Cent to realise that it was dead, a hilarious pause.

And just tonight... it was two fatties, and almost a third. I haven't driven anything other than Awesomes yet...

Round today on Frozen City. I had the no HUD bug and had to have a dead teammate on TS act as my IFF for all 'Mechs. I managed three kills in a CN9-AL. The rest of the team did an excellent job softening the others up except for the last Centurion that I made pretty quick work of. It was amazing to see how hard it really is if you are LRM heavy and have no HUD. Of course pegging lights with gauss rifles is always satisfying too.

I have 2 that really standout:

Frozen city : Myself (atlas) and another (Hback), our base is almost completely captured by a commando. He's running around us hitting us w/a single medium laser. I actually lead him by almost 3 times the size of his mech and put him down w/a gauss shot.

River city : Very early in the game a raven tangles w/a jenner of ours and kills him (though gets a bit of damage). We've switched attack axis and are now heading toward the upper city. The Raven runs to the edge of the upper city, sees us, turns and heads back towards his base, a twin ERPPC shot from 500m hits him in stride and takes him down.

3 for me:

I was playing my Ilya with dual AC-10, and it was just me and a jenner at our cap. The jenner jetted up; I legged him in midair, then cockpit shot him when he landed.

My other was in an experimental build on my CN9-AL, just 4MPL and the biggest STD I could hold. Again, I was the only one to respond to a cap in progress at our base, and when I showed up it was a gausscat and a cataphract. I killed the kitty pretty quick, but when I was working on the cataphract I lost both arms, both torsos, and finally cored him just before my team won by cap.

Perhaps the most epic: their team rushed our cap while I was scouting with my Commando 1-B (1LLas, 2 MLas). I decided to try to counter-cap, which worked alright since it pulled a Jenner, a Commando, and a Raven back to their base. The Commando and the Jenner were a bit damaged, so I killed them first. Lost a leg and my LLas by the time I started concentrating on the Raven, who somehow decided to stand outside the cap-point as I capped and won the game.

Still remember the CB when i tested the use PPCs and the enemy approached our base in the forrest colony (that one at the water side) and an LRM Atlas moved up a far mountain side starting LRMing at us while we made a counterattack and while moving toward the frontline i twisted my torso and aimed with my arm mounted PPC in its general direction and landed a headshot, seeing it fall down forward making a clumsy looping and sliding down the hill with an enraged Atlas pilot shouting curses in the chat.

I have to quote 2 recent kills that really made me jump from my chair.
1) In river city Night, assault mode, me in my 6xsrm6 Cat. We are just coming in the open around D5 to see who's around, and i spot a Cataphract sitting at 400m, I noticed the rest of the team started to charge slowly, so i followed ahead making way at full speed towards the ctf, face to face. As i punched the throttle to full speed i see to my right a "flying" ECM raven running at right angle from me. I lead the shot, release aplha and BOOM, it rolls over 3 times and die. The guy in the CTF must have been quite startled seeing this as he started to back off. I continued charging towards him and released another alpha killing him,pieces flying around in the air. Got another 2 kills in that match and then lit up a cigarette,LOL
2) In river city, conquest mode, the team makes way for the upper city, to cap our first point. Me again in my 6srm6 cat. As we reached the upper city i notice that half of the other team had the same idea and i started maneuvering in between the buildings. Entering a narrow pass way i notice a red triangle coming towards me full speed. I reduce speed, remember myself thinking "Whatever this mech is i'll alphastrike as soon as it enters the narrow alley". Before i even target it, i released the alpha as it was entering the alley and BOOM, a Jenner immediately falls dead in front of me. It was ECSTATIC The other guy must have never realised what killed him!

Killing anything lag shielded with an AC20 or PPC.

My best one was when we still had knockdowns and it was almost impossible to tell where the hitboxes were.
A Jenner almost got me in my flawless AC20 founders Hunchback. When BOOM one of my AC20 shots connected
for a head shot (cockpit was already damaged on that Jenner).

I was cheering via ingame chat for the rest of the game while the Jenner started ranting at me
