My favourite was destroying an ECM Commando (pre netcode fixes) at around 500m with a erPPC/Gauss alpha while it was moving.


Another was strafing through the tunnel in Frozen City in my HBK 4G, went past the secondary opening and a Catapult was standing there waiting for someone to pass (never saw what he was carrying). As I went past, 1, 2, 3 I hit it in the cockpit with AC20, 2 MPLAS, 1 MPLAS and it died. Probably 45s into the match lol.

In river city, driving my 4sp. I fall off the edge of the space port, and decide to take a peek at lower city. I am immediately jumped by two ecm streakmandos. I get a few laser burns on them, and they split. One comes back around the corner and I splatter him with my arms. The other had been working my back armor, but peels off when is friend is blown up. having piloted lights quite a bit, I figure he'll come around the building; I am not disappointed. My first srm volley misses, but the guy must have panicked, because he gets hung up on the other side of the street, where the second volley blows him into pieces, arms flying in opposite directions.

I just had a really satisfying kill when a flame legged me in my raven. I stopped and decided to just slug it out with him aiming for his RT that was yellow internals. Lo and behold, I killed him before he could kill me as for some reason he started shooting my nearly intact CT when my remaining leg was on orange internals. Hehe

Best is probably soloing a team of six after they wiped out the rest of my team, obviously they were damaged and clustered together but it was still brilliant. In a Jenny D pre ecm days

One I'll count as a kill but wasn't my effort was an enemy Jenner taking a double gauss slug from a gauss cat for me resulting in him being TKd rather than me being in a crumpled heap, then chasing down the gauss cat was fun as well. He ran just in front of me circle strafing

Really satisfying was also to catch a raven with my 4xSRM6 awesome a long time ago, he ran into a building and stopped just long enough for me to nuke him

In Forrest Colony, I'm in a Mad Dragon. I see a Raven 3L, it spots me. It gratifyingly comes towards me to begin it's voodoo dance of death.

1 pass around me, I miss it. I take a full volley of it's load, feeling the shake of its streaks land on me as the dreaded sound of 3 lasers bore into my mech's armor.

2nd pass, I miss again, he again flings it's sharp feathers at me.

Pass #3, I bearly land laser shots on its leg due to its acursed speed and once more I get sqwaked at.

4th pass ... AC20 lands blasting that fargin chicken leg of his. The pilot sweats as I hear his mech yelp out a "Bukaw!?" in confusion. I grin evily as I stop chasing him, linning up crosshairs on it. He fires his last volley as I can see him busting out the rosary beads and begins to pray in his cockpit ... I alpha strike as sir Raven turns into crispy chicken rotisserie.

I bust out a cigarette and quoteth the great guru, Quagmire: "Heh, heh ... allriiiight".

Playing in my Death's Knell fighting an enemy Death's Knell. In a heated battle I manage to take very little torso damage while his was a very bright red. A good shot from him take my right arm, and some good old fashioned quad PPC friendly fire takes my left arm.

I now have absolutely no weapons, tactical options being few I started running into him. After about 3 collisions I manage to do enough damage to his central torso to kill him.

I killed an enemy by running into him.

Spider harassing a teammate 500M away, Swing my Large laser on him. Fired between two teammates and POP. One Spider dead! I didn't even "Target" him with R, just snapped it off as a second thought as i was pursuing his Assault teammate.

yeah i haven't done that one yet. I did watch a teammate though. The way the Spider ragdolls as it crashes is priceless!

During the double XP weekend, in River City, I chased a Spider into one of the cul-de-sac buildings. The pilot didn't have the presence of mind to use jump jets to get out of there and instead turned around to run back out, right as I came in with my Centurion. He got two SRM-6s to the face. Lag shield doesn't work when you're not moving.

i get in my AWS 9M, with 3xERPPC and switch the rest of the loadout in the mechlab for some streaks... catch is; i forgot to put streak ammo!!!

so the match starts in forest colony and i tell my team that i screwed up...
just armed with three ER PPC i fall back and just assume the role of lone sniper.

my team engage and hold their own but still die in the end... it's 4vs1 now... i do my best to keep a low profile behind the hill close to our base (the base on the side with the low ground)

a centurion spots me, and starts shooting me with ac10.
he runs loops around my back but i swerve and turn the opposite way, fooling him.
then 3 er ppc alpha strike to the torso gets the kill. my team cheers

still my condition wasn't in red despite the fact that i had like a good 10 ac rounds from that centurion and shot with ppc from afar

i hide again and then a cataphract comes to cap our base, but somehow doesn't see me.
i go commando and shoot him on the side. cataphract assumes i am far and runs for it, i alpha strike 2 times and shut down, cataphract is still near me with it's back turned, but threw himself down a pit to avoid any more hits.
i take just 2 steps to the right so that i can target it and boom!
team cheers again

then a catapult comes looking for me and shoots me with his med laser... i wonder why he's not getting closer and then i realize he ran out of ammo!
it's a no contest, CAT didn't even try to maneuver... hit him 5 times with chain fire and he's down.
my team can't believe it

but now i'm in bad condition and there's still one more centurion.
he's afraid of how i pwnt his team so he doesn't even face me, he doesn't even try to go for cap

in the end their team had to settle for a tie when it was 4 vs 1 in their favor.
the tie felt bitter cause i knew i could kill that guy if i had seen him, i suspect he was low on ammo. but he took the cowardly way and it was satisfying to hear the positive reaction from the guys on my team who did their job and were happy that i didn't waste all that dmg they managed to deal

I was in my Stalker 5M, armed to the teeth, when a brand new Spider jumped over the hill in front of me (about 120m).
I alphaed the Spider, hitting with all guns and it blew in the sky. That was like forth of July.
