Just happened a couple matches ago. My whole team was going down fast on Forest Colony, a enemy's souped-up Raven was running circles around our whole battlegroup, keeping us under an ECM bubble to mess with our targeting. I was piloting my Commando COM-1B, chasing after the Raven to at least give our team a slightly better chance, running hotter with every shot (I run 2 medium lasers and 1 large laser). I manage to get off one salvo crippling the Raven's leg, and then as soon as my lasers cycle, running 99% heat, I snap off one last shot and get the most satisfying sight in the world: a Raven-3L falling dead, and then immediately get cored by shots from near every direction and go down hard.

Killing an AWESOME and an ATLAS in my pesky little COM-1B on Frozen City. The Awesome I'd taken apart earlier in the match pretty much by myself and faded when his team came to help. I caught him limping across the map toward our base and took him out with two alphas from my 2 Med Lasers, Medium Laser, and SRM2.

The ATLAS was standing stock still in our base, capping, and had been back cored. I screamed past behind him, the other ATLAS, and the Dragon that were with him and alpha'd him. He died instantly.

We still lost, though, because it was 2v2 and my other teammate was way off in the middle of nowhere.

I recall fondly a memory of piloting my dragon in Caustic Valley, back in closed beta. Was a laser build, two LLas, two MLAS, I think a SRM4 in the chest. Anyway. The fight's been damn close and it's down to me and this Awesome in the lake back when the caps weren't on the north and south end.So we're going toe to toe down there, slugging back and forth, both of us on the edge of getting cored out. I'm at my heat cap and the awesome clearly isn't, and I can see he's gonna take me out with his next hit, so on the next pass I throttle up to max (this is a pretty fast dragon) and just slam my chest into his head. We both go *** over teakettle, the observers in chat laugh, but it was time I desperately needed to cool down. I got up facing him, and he was looking off to my right, his left arm facing me. I see him swinging around and I can just imagine him frantically trying to get weapons on target. Unfortunately for him, he was standing right in front of my guns. Didn't even have to aim.

Cored him out with a final standing still alpha.

Probably my favorite moment and one that hasn't been matched since.

Probably those few times before current patch when i managed to alpha-strike light mech in my 4PPC Atlas with stupid amount of lag leading (especially this one Jenner who was pain in the *** for entire match).

Also I recall magnificent duel, me in DDC against Gaussaphract with some lasers. I had armor advantage, he had speed and cover (map was River City). What i thought would be an easy kill turned out to be intense brawl pushing my piloting skills to the limit. Putting finishing AC20 round in his torso was quite a relief.

My new Jenner D last night on River City, sat around the epsilon cap and me and a Jenner F got into a circling fight, I came out triumphant! SRMS > Lots of lasers

Any kill I finish with my AC-20.

Top contender would have to be a Raven 3L with ECM, and streaks that was tormenting a friendly missile boat. Caught him at full speed running circles around the poor Catapult. Walked around a corner and hit him square in the center torso with the AC-20. Raven sprawled face first into the snow, and slid it a stop in front of the catapult.

It was comical the way the Catapult watched the Raven slide to a stop, and then looked up at me with what seemed like astonishment. I'm pretty sure the Catapult was doing all the damage it could do, but had pretty much given up any hope of winning with it's two Medium Lasers.

Runner up would be a brave Centurion. I was standing in the upper city portion of river city in my Atlas. We had just pushed the other team off the hill, and were chasing the few that had retreaded down towards their base. I was pretty beat up and bringing up the rear of our advance when a Centurion came running up the hill from the park. He was carrying an AC, SRMs, Medium Lasers, and was throwing all of it at me.

It was a short run from where he was at to the top of the hill where I was. In that time I had stripped his left and center torso armor away. He was firing for all He was worth, but his hits scattered all over my mech. He had finished stripping my center torso down to yellow interals, but hadn't accomplished much else. He shut down from an over heat right as I put 4 Medium lasers into his stripped center torso.

His mech came to a stop just under 100 meters away. The mechs arms hung down at his sides, and it's shoulders slumped forward. Powered down, helpless, and looking about as defeated as a mech can look. I squared my mech up to his, lined up a shot on his center torso and fired 1 AC-20 round that sent his mech toppling slowly over backwards.


Both were very satisfying.

Blind shot over 600m on Forest Colony with a Gauss Rifle from my Dragon. Cored a Catapult that I'd only just targeted, without being able to see him.

Took the leg off a Raven at 800m on Caustic Valley a long time ago, again with a Gauss Rifle on my Dragon. It appears the Raven fancied himself a sniper with a PPC and a Large Laser, so losing a leg for standing still on top of a ridge taught him a lesson, I hope. There's been other blind shots, such as decapping a Jenner who was capping, coring a Catapult, killing a guy because he stored his ammo in the Catapult earpod which I blew off, etc.

Edit: Oh, and another story that just came back to me - taking out a Stalker, Cataphract and Raven-3L with my Commando-2D. Guess what? I ran out of streaks when I took out the Stalker, had to finish it with a single medium laser XD

A couple days ago Thomas Dz was running aroud with his founders Catapult causing sort of mayhem. I (accidentally) got into position with my Atlas DDC, where I could shoot him effectively...he hit his jump jets to avoid, and I blasted his *** from mid-air with triple SRM6 to his face.

Felt warm and cozy after that

In my "trollmando" i killed an atlas using streaks then a gausspult that never touched me the I used a mpl to kill a wannabe 2d. god it was funny and that all happened in the space of 40 seconds!
