It would be great if somebody pin it, we can't enjoy this game as we'd like, and some times I feel no body cares.

Even some people don't believe us, or think we don't know what we're talking about, the ones who say "It's solved for me, get a new PC, or get a USB head set, you have a bad speaker, etc.".

¿would it help if we recorded our gameplay to show them how bad it is?

I'll record those sounds tonight and I'll post the results here, I'll use sound forge, but if it's necessary I could write a tutorial on how to do it using just free software.

As I promised here the recording showing the audio problems I'm having, I encourage other users who are having the same issues to record a sample too.

I get random stuttering too. Sometimes, my audio is perfect, others it's terrible. If the devs want any specific info, I can provide it. I can easily get video of it (actually, I think I have a video with stuttering) but I'm not sure if that's actually helpful or not. I'm pretty sure the dev's are aware of the issue.

Some players had audio problems that were solved with the last patch, I wouldn't want devs to close the case, that's why I'm trying to prove that some of us are still experiencing issues.

yes, that's a perfect example of the stutter I get! Good job! I'll ask Helmer if he can forward it to the devs... he's my goto guy for these kind of problems

edit: sent it to Niko Snow instead, since he seems in charge of the different bugs/issues

that is very very strange,

i have buzzing footsteps (every time), stuttering betty and sounds, missing sound effects and betty samples. well i have played with my modified (louder, clean samples) betty and got no buzzing or stuttering (don´t ask i will not share). and i play yet without modified files for the proof!

all the sound effects who are corrupt in the soundbank has sometimes stutter or missing completely ingame.

looks like my rig doesn't play buzzing sound ingame. (Realtek High Definition Audio, Stereo Setup, onboard)

i am on work with the records, will report back soon.

I have an onboard realtek also, ¿may be a common factor?.

I also tried an old CMI8738 PCI, the stuttering was still present, it's hard to tell if the PCI card performed a little better on this game because, at least in my case, stuttering seems to be dependant on the map I'm playing.

I had similar stuttering problems in Crysis 1 using a Realtek onboard sound card, it was never fixed and I couldn't find any solution, however, Crysis 2 sound worked like a charm in the same PC.

¿Could it be something related to cryengine and Realtek sound?

hi

after gathering some records and re cut them to one avi, i just finished my short video. its not the best (i wish i have better records from the issue). i have more rec. but no time ...sry

you will note that there are missing sound effects too, somewhat buzzing every-times, footstep buzzing (very heavy on snow) and very loud. i have my effects volume switch to half! the stutter is very rare for me after the last patch, is it better now but not fixed.

maybe this issue is related to Realtek sound-cards(possibru), but we need more user with the same issue and a Realtek for the proof!

i will look for an driver update later, i hope that fix it (but don´t believe that).

The reason, why so many people with realtek cards experience, is that those are the most common soundcards on mainboards atm and thereby most people with the problem will own one of those.

But as stated, there are other people there, who experience the issue with X-Fis, integrated USB headsets and so on.

Anyways, I love the game, but the audio bugs are driving me insane, as I have a very sensitive hearing.

¿Does somebody know what it takes for this post to be moved to "Known Issues" or at least get pinned?
¿Does somebody know what the tag 11923 means?
