They are working with Nvidia with the DX11 so it does not do a Archam city.
They are also actively figuring out ways to make the game less cpu intensive.
The company is rather small, and is almost an indy company. with a publisher i have never heard of in my life. They are working the best they can. my computer is over twice as powerful as the minimum the least i want is a steady 30fps or they should change the minimum and required. Crysis 2 worked like a dream, so i know this can happen.
I would love to be able to change my view distance, It would be great.

Why do people think that there is a "Real release" on the horizon? I am willing to bet you will not see an "Alpha" version of this game. I have high suspicions that the game will be in an indefinite "Open Beta" state. Many people reference the size of the company running this operation, which again tells me that they may or may not have the resources to feel comfortable enough with the games state to push into "Alpha".
I have no problems with this, many free to play games stay in a form of 'Beta" state for their entire existence and are quite sucessfull. I think that people on this forum are so eager to think that there will one day be a perfect, bug free, version of this game but I don't see that coming. PGI made a reported (To us anyway) Approx 5.2 million in founders sales alone. Think of how much of that money has to go to salary and company expenses, and then imagine how much of it was actually spent on the game. It may sound like a lot but I would wager otherwise in the grand scheme of things.
I must be bored... food for thought though.

LOL what? you can not have people work for free, you can not get an engine for free. 5.2 million is really small for game development these days. hell hawken's publisher got 18 million for just being cool. Most games now at AAA standards cost well over 50 million to create. the difference between halo 3 and the new one is around 50m dollars. look at the difference in graphics fidelity, of the two on the same hardware.
such as darksiders 2, a decent game but to break even on envelopment costs they had to make 120 million, or sell 2 million copies at launch price.
also this game has been in development for a year now, and this is what we got so far.

I can tell you dont know how to read and I forgive you.
And many people have been referring to "Alpha" as the final stage of a game. Some don't understand the difference, merely trying to use language people would understand.

Lol no they certainly dont.
The good news is you have wrapped up all 3 podium positions in the stupidest post olympics!
In 3rd place making the embarrassing mistake.
In 2nd place defending the mistake and making it so much worse.
And in the gold medal position insulting someone else's ability to read.
That is truly an impressive 15 minutes work. Congratulations.

He may have taken the podium, but you definitely get honorable mention for trying to slam some post that's six weeks old.

There's a post buried somewhere in the command chair subfourm of the devleoper's corner that says "they're working really hard" but there's been no ETA since it failed to appear in the 3.4 engine update.

I have heard but have no proof, that January on the outside is the estimate.

That is an interesting theory, but one would need to know what aspects of DX11 are upscalable to DX11.1
That is a good forethought though.

The only thing that will change visually, is most probably a ripple effect for when Mechs walk through water. Dont expect anything more.
