Issue I have with this is that its 25 tons heavier than a catapult, yet is more or less the same size. How do they fit all the weapons and ammo in that little frame? Or rather, how do they not fit plenty of weapons and ammo in the cat? Is it less dense on the inside?
This goes with several mechs, but these two are the most similar in build.

It's way too small. I'm pretty sure it's shorter and narrower than a catapult once you take the arms into account. For all the people worried about if being a bigger target, 1) it's an assault, it should be an 2) stalkers move so slow it doesn't matter. I don't think I've actually fired a weapon and not hit a stalker I was aiming at.
It definitely needs to be more intimidating through it's size. It should also probably be tall enough to look and shoot over shorter buildings in urban areas, as other posters have already suggested.

I sometimes pause when I see an atlas because it's big and bad and (up until now) bolstered the most weapons in a frame.
I don't do that with the stalker, I confuse it too often with cats or otherwise disregard it.

I like the model but it needs to be scaled up by at least 10%.

Its too small for a Stalker, both balance and lore wise.

It's not the size that matters, but how you use it.
First, there was the wang. Now, we have stalkers.
