Yes and no.
Literally using an alphastrike will cause the missile lock to be lost as me would be overheated.

Me waddle my way to ~300 meters then me can alpha the missiles & right afterwards (when me know they'll get blasted by the LRMs) alpha the lasers which will likely kill the other mech (assuming me manage to hit an important bit like the CT) & die (or at least be as good as dead as this mech has terrible dissipation....still better dissipation compared to trial mechs though due to 12 DHS.
