I've never had a problem with this and now the past week I've gotten numerous "session was lost" errors. 5-6 times in a row. It's unplayable for me now. I had a consistent ping before last patch too.

I am super fed up with this, I applied for the top membership when the Beta came out and have almost never been able to play thanks to this issue as listed in the 10 pages above! I am sick of hoping for updates to fix and reinstall doing nothing!
I started off getting the network error after a long wait and since the latest update i now get secession lost?

Since the Launch I have been getting session lost during the game. It seems to happen in a time frame. I play for hours no problem then for a time it is laggy and will dc every game. Then play another day and it will be fine again. Shame really that it cant be addressed easily. i may have wasted a bunch of money.

Having the Problem since today 10.10.2013... during match i start teleporting and then "session lost" and i have to restart the game. It`s now happening every 2 to 3 games. Very annoying

I also started to get session was lost error.
It started shortly after the last patch on the 15th.

I used the repair tool with limited success.
This is ruining my gameplay experience.

been getting this for the last week

now ive been getting it for 20 minutes straight and cant play


funnily enough the mwomercs.com is also unavailable when i get the session lost message, but am still able to browse other websites (no loss on internet connection)

please fix this i want to kill people ;)

I think I have a Solution for you to try out. Start the MWO as Administrator. I did it and my "Session was lost" error doesn´t happen to me for a hole day and I still got none.

Try run it as Administrator, didn't work.
Still getting "Session was lost".
(The Mech Ready List is alway empty or shall I say, session was lost the moment when the client is loading the mechs?)

That answer is useless, infuriating, and wrong. This happens all the time and I can immediately log back in. It happens over and over. Read and think before you say you answered the topic. If the servers were taken down I could not log back in immediately and start play immediately. It only happens in the launch screen and mech lab. I hate it when support staff just dismiss a problem because they think they know they answer when THEY DON'T.

I have issues since UI 2.0. Worst case: I cannot login, "Server Timeout". Sometimes I can login but get "Session lost" or "Connection Error" while UI is loading or later in UI. Best case(!): "Session lost" during the countdown phase at the beginning of a match.

I did a complete de- and reinstall, deactivated the Firewall – nada. ISP is Vodafone.

So since patchday I cannot play anymore.

Edit: ping to www.mwomercs.com [70.42.29.74] times out always, no coming through.

Edit 2: as it seems, Vodaphone is blocking mwomercs.com. No ping possible. But the site is accessible in the browser. Though, I have huge Problems with the game itself, I think the connection is not "lost" but cut off by my ISP! We are now in the process of moving into another town where I will have another Provider. Let's hope the best. I just have to survive those 2 weeks without MWO with shivering Hands ;D

Edit 3: Everything allright again, no session lost anymore. It must have been the ISP or the mwomercs.com server. Still no ping possible - server security? But hey, I can play again!

I've started encountering this since Friday.

tracert gets out of the UK just fine, then begins to time out after border1.te7-1-bbnet1.tor001.pnap.net/ [70.42.24.132]

I tried the same thing from some telstra service and it fails at the same place, albeit after fewer hops. Something is wrong in Atlanta, GA?
