15 members and growing, don't you want to be the one to fill out our 4th lance?

William S. Preston, Esq. of course.

And for the record, it's also the name of a Clan Black Lion-class WarShip. The Admiral William S. Preston. I wasn't (much) joking. :)

The BattleTech/Mechwarrior writers must have been fans of Bill and Ted :D

Simply can't compare it to Hayden's recolours, but I thought I'd show what else we've got.

EDIT: Fixed a mistake

It's amazing, BoS. :)

Why not drop it into the repaint thread as well?

It crossed my mind, but I don't want to be too self-indulgent if I can help it. After all, I only recoloured the thing, the template was made by Hayden which is the hard part.

Ahh, screw it, done. :)

On the contrary. It compares.

I feel so special :P !

Thank you very very much BoS!

BoS was so nice to actually follow up my request for creating a Panther (one of my favorite mechs, and one I hope to pilot soon if the devs be so good to put it in) with this awesomeness:

Cool looking Panther, but why does it look constipated? Otherwise really great, Balls!

Im very tempted to sign on to Preston's Lancers. I like the idea of a strong pro-Liao regiment in these troubling times. Though my current rig cant handle MWO I can still play Mercenaries and participate in exercises while I build a new comp. What are the qualifications for membership?

The only requirements are that you be able and willing to work in a team, be a loyal member of House Liao and contribute $500 per month in membership fees. /JK

Come on fellas let's get some recruiting going!

In some way, it is retro, since he smashes a Davion logo, while they are in Federated Commonwealth already. ;)

I think it's mostly because of the big:"Join!" in combination with a simple picture which catches the heart of every nationalist (like the "We need you!" posters).

It has a lot more to do with the style of the Davion logo (Oh wait, that's the one I cooked up, but desaturated... just realized that) and the CCAF logo in the lower left hand corner. Really, that CCAF font is what seals it.
