Wow... just wow. Now that is fantastic! Not only did the Orion-lovers of the forum make the same kind of suggestions I would, but you are humble and tolerant enough to gracefully accept those suggestions! Do you have a fan-club?

A Hero Orion isn't necessarilly a Kerensky one. Plus he would have driven a non special painted mech in order to not be a hgiher target.

Most people think of it like an Altas minus 25 tons.

Actually, Kerensky did have his own special variant.
ON1-K (Kerensky): x2 MLas, x1 Gauss Rifle, x1 Snub-Nose PPC, x1 SRM-4
(source is RS:3050U-IS)
Stock ON1-K: x2 MLas, x1 AC/10, x1 LRM-15, x1 SRM-4

I'd say its more like a Centurion+ more armor and more missiles
It has right-torso based ballistic, one energy mount in each arm and SRM+LRM in left torso, exactly like Atlas.
On the other hand, the speed is the only thing that is the same as with Centurion.

Well, to be fair, the FWL was never shy about selling their mechs to the other houses. With few exceptions, the Orion was seen in the military of every house, but only truly used in bulk by FWL.
IIRC.

Pretty much everyone saw the Orion as the "pocket Atlas" IIRC.

I wonder if this will have a command console since it performed the function of a command mech long before the Atlas was on the drawing boards.

The left shield arm is one of the main thing that defines the Centurion: so the Orion is not like a Centurion.

Only difference is the Atlas gets large instead of medium lasers
Better late than never.
Basically, if you read the text around this mech, you'd read about some old dude doing the first field run for it... he fell in love with it that day. Then, as the best warrior the world has ever known, he was asked to help them design a mech and this is what he said: "Create a Mech as powerful as possible, as impenetrable as possible, and as ugly and foreboding as conceivable, so that fear itself will be our ally." And the mech they made got the name Atlas and was basically his Orion (the best mech ever, as he thought) on steroids.
Then there is that thing he took his whole army with it, created a new society of warriors outside of Inner Sphere and his descendants created the next best mech ever... the Timber Wolf (or Mad Cat) and called themselves Clans, but that's besides the point.

75 Tons
Standard 300 (25 tons)
50 Tons
Standard Armor (14 Tons)
36 Tons
2x PPC (14 Tons)
22 Tons
2x SSRM2's w/ 1 ton ammo (4 Tons)
18 Tons
1x AC5 w/ 1 ton ammo (9 Tons)
9 Tons
AMS w/ 1 Ton ammo + CASE (2 tons)
7 Tons
7 additional heatsinks (7 tons)
= 75 Tons
So:
2xPPC
1xAC5 / 1T (30 Rounds)
2x SSRM2 / 1T (100 Rounds)
AMS / 1T
Standard 300 Engine
17 Heat sinks
14 Tons Armor
64.8 KP/h Speed (estimated)
Damage (Alpha): 35/175
This should work out as a good sniping platform with decent fallback options (AC5 for close range and SSRM2's for lights). The PPC's will have to be chain fired to manage heat output (unless the incoming buff makes them amazing).

Very nice.
Though, it should be noted (for the sake of not confusing others) that the Orion IIC has the weapons laid out rather differently from those of the 'Mech on which it's based...
Orion IIC:
- x1 Clan LRM-20 (LA - the artwork makes it look like it's part of the torso/shoulder, but it's technically in the arm, according to the record sheet)
- x1 Clan Gauss Rifle (RT)
- x2 Clan ER Large Laser (LA, RA)
- x1 Clan (non-Streak) SRM-4 (LT - it weighs 1.0 tons rather than 2.0, but is otherwise identical to the IS version)
