Orion was the Workhorse of the FWLM Military, by far, until like the Perseus and such came out.

That Launcher arm doesn't look like an error to me.

In table top. there was a discrepancy between the artwork and the stat-sheets for the Orion. The art depicted the launcher in the left arm, the stats placed the launcher in the left torso. PGI had to pick one, and picked the stat-sheet, it seems. I'm glad they did.

I just think it is "neat" that they noticed and went with the record sheet.

I actually hope they make one variant that has the launcher arm, because the launcher arm looked neat, and there was even some fluff about how having the laser in the center of the rotary launcher had some quirk to it or something.

just as a side note, while the stats for the default Orion have the srm mounted in the torso, some of the canon variants feature arm mounted srms,
