The Ultrasaurus, Death Stinger, Death Saurer, and Siesmosaur were all exaggerated in the shows, and depicted as being much larger than they really are.

Its anime, everything is overly exaggerated.

Which reminds me of the rules of anime physics.

Yes I did.

Sense I figured it was simply taking up so much space I decided to simply put in the link.

After reading over it again, I have come to the conclusion that if Battletech/mechwarrior did get its own series, I hope to god its not anime as I like my BT and MW with REAL physics. If they do make it into an anime, REAL world physics must apply other wise it isant BT/MW... However, I am completely ok with anime rule #34 regarding female characters.

Personally I don't think battlemechs obey the rules of physics any more then anime mecha do, battlemechs just move slower.

I just thought up a new anime law of physics, not sure if it was covered but here it goes. Law of inverse weapon damage: In most if not all anime mechas, a tanks weapon is ineffective against mecha units even if mecha units are equipped with same said weapon which they use to kill other mecha units.

Well Watchit, I gotta say, you win this thread :o

From the sounds of it, the HMM models are more complex (and more poseable) than the TOMY/Hasbro motorized kits, which it looks like most of yours are (yes? no?), so I might get a couple of them... even of the Liger Zero is like $130... Oh well, yay for college grants! I'm sure the fed would be overjoyed to see I'm using all the personal money they free up to buy Zoid models :P

Also, couple of questions:

1.) Is that a Liger Zero X in that top image?

2.) JUST HOW BIG is that Ultrasaurus?!?! :o (is that 1/72nd scale still?! Because in the show that thing was monstrous)

Yes they are indeed all TOMY/Hasbro motorized models, except for a few that were those weird "Blox" models you can see in the 4th picture.

You were almost correct, that was a Liger Zero Imperial Version, which also came with the Liger Zero X armor.

As Rayzor already said, the Ultrasaurus, it's technically 1/72nd scale because it's got like 5 cockpits with 1/72nd scale pilots in them, but it also came with little miniature zoids that were to scale with the how big it would be in the show (I just can't find them!).

Here's a comparison shot with the Iron Kong

Wow Watchit... your collection is the only one I've seen rival mine... nice job.

But I must ask... WHY IS YOUR GENO BREAKER CONFIGURED AS A SAURER?

Thanks! :D
And it's configured as a Geno Saurer because that's just what I happen to have it configured as at the time, I switch it back and fourth ever now and then :P

Also, your so lucky to have the Liger Zero's modular armor! I'm to poor to buy them on e-bay at the moment, maybe after I start getting my paycheck. Do you have them all, or just Jager?

Just Jager, I begged my mom to buy it for my 17th birthday a few days ago; I got it for only $27. (Considering most are $75 without shipping, this was a steal.)

I wanted the Schnieder but it was originally listed as around $50 and somebody made a lower offer, so I found a Jager being sold by the same guy and got that. :o

The only bad thing about Jager is that some of the pieces fit so tight that I probably won't be able to get them off without breaking something. :P

I never really cared for the Zero's CAS armors anyways. I always felt the thing was good the way it was.

That said, I'd ****** up one if I found it for $27 too :)

For now though, I'm going to try one of the HMM models, maybe the Command Wolf.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting an HMM for my birthday. Do you know of any good places to buy one? I'm assuming Amazon or e-bay though ;)

I've been shopping around, trying to decide where and what to buy.

Right now, the best prices I've been able to find are here

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/

They seem to be able to undercut everyone else by like half. The problem is that they may nail you on shipping.

Still, the HMM Liger Zero is usually like $100-$120, and it's 62 bucks here

http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10121664

So it's definitely worth a look, and from what I can see, they at least seem to ship to the US (too tired to look further, heading to bed in a few)

I finally have a job again, so either way, I guess whichever of us has the money together first can figure out the best place to shop :D (if all else fails, Ebay and Amazon, like you say  )... now I just gotta decide what to buy

The Command Wolf has too many artistic liberties taken with the HMM mode, imo, but the Lightning Saix and Liger Zero look BAD *** ;) Go figure, they're also the expensive ones.

If I would buy an HMM it would either be Raven's Geno Saurer or the Geno Breaker.

They so expensive though...

It was a sad day when they cancelled FUZORS mid-series... Had to go and watch the rest of it online, along with GENESIS. It's weird to think that they are still making models in Japan

Zoids have been around for 30 years; I think they'll have their niche for some time to come :) Granted, I think all that sort of stuff will largely die out of the mainstream, along with model rockets, slot car racing, etc  But not for a few years yet, I suspect
