Wait.

There was a Zoids cartoon?

Great, now the wifey is going to really hate my "Hey, lets watch this old cartoon" nights. ;)

I had one or two of these, but they were pretty uncommon where I grew up. I remember seeing some years later and being surprised at how many there were. Now I find out there's a cartoon.

Great. Relationship Doomed.

Thank you for this post OP, my ageing brain had forgotten Zoids, among the many cartoons I enjoyed. I still watch cartoons, and with 4 grandkids, it's a blast. My personal new favorite? Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. Jake is voiced by John Di Maggio, same guy that does Bender on Futurama. Now I must go find Zoids and show them to my grandkids. So far, they like most of the old cartoons I show them. ;)

Yeah I miss the cartoon :)

The first two "Chaotic Century" (this one was my favorite) and "New Century Zero" were the best, all the rest after that sucked. Which is probably why they stopped selling the figures in the states :D

Watchit, if you are still looking for Zoids this is the place to check out:

Their store is awesome. A little pseudo-shack on top of a multi-use office/art space building. Okay, so their website doesn't list Zoids, but I could swear I saw some in their store last time I was there. Admittedly that was a while ago.

:)

Yep, this basically sums it up. Chaotic Century was great, New Century Zero was okay (though I like the Liger Zero the best, the story wasn't as good), and the rest are... yeah just don't even bother.
