lol, i love the books, and i played an older xbox game a long time ago (was it realy 8 years?) i think it was similer, just cant remember the name.
whatever it was it was good, so im happy i found this looking for the board game rules for my little bro. ok now for a real question, when is it comming out?

NOOOOOOOOOO, the Xbox game was crap. You should have played the PC versions that came out before that, they were awesome fun. Setup your own home server and get a bunch of guys to play, or join an online game server, or simply play through the story line. Most fantastic fun was had. Xbox version, pffff crap.....

Damn I remember in the early 90s even playing the game in those networked cockpits they had at some malls, me and a bunch of friends would go twice a week to the mall get in the cockpits and play other teams. Cockpits had Amiga kit in them and was all networked back to a couple Macs if I remember correctly. I remember buying half a dozen voice operated walkie talkies so our team could comunicate strategy to each other during the game. Ahhh fun times.

I'm not even going to try to read through the rest of pages 6-23.

Euro players, chill out. Rest of world was excluded as well in the initial announcement.
There was mention on other official output that there was still stuff in the works for securing servers outside North America. As much as they may want to give everyone a fair shot they still have to go through all the steps of getting stuff set up for you people that are so quick to hurl anger their way. Seems quite obvious to me they have been just as enthusiastic about the players all around the world and they would do their best to make all Mechwarriors' experience a good one.

With what has been put out before this, I am surprised they are even announcing anything regarding prepurchase and access dates. MW:O seemed in a lower phase of development until this announcement.

$60 gets you access on July 17. We don't have dates yet for Open Beta or general launch,
