You thought the gaussapult was bad? How many of you have tried out a 6PPC stalker? I have, and I LOVE IT... The death... The destruction... My god the way things blow up... One shot and I can at the very least wipe out someones left/right torso or arm... 60 Damage alpha strikes concentrated in one location...Please Watch for more:

Run up to in a light, get in under 90m. Laugh while slowly glazing and streaking the armor away.

Doesn't matter, everything still dies.

I don't worry about lights, I kill them with one-two shots before they get in range. Besides that I stay close to my team for their support.

I tried one with 6 ERPPCs and melted my mech, blew it sky high on the first shot. Ooops!

I'm running a slightly more sane version:
2x PPC
2x ERPPC
5x SSRM w/ 2t ammo
TAG
AMS w/ 1t ammo
XL 280

It was worth it just for last game, took a ~800m shot at a heatblob. Headshot killed an undamaged D-DC atlas.

I have another version of the build I like to play with. 4x PPC, 4x SSRM2s, 2x ML. A little more sane, and I switch between the PPC/SSRM+MPL depending on what range I'm at.

The 6PPCs are just too much fun though, a little insane, but I've yet to get into a match where I didn't get at least 2 kills from it.

What's there to lie about? I just played a match a few minutes ago and one shot a commando before he could even get in range. 60 damage Alpha will do that to any light mech. Besides, years(12 to be exact) of playing Counter Strike and AWPing the crap out of people has helped

I can make some more videos if you don't believe me.

And yes it is for the LULZ, but it works, and it's a ton of fun.

I ran into one of those a night ago. Watching it fire, overheat, backpedal, then repeat... it was a little sad. I felt bad for the pilot when he was mauled by a crippled commando with nothing left but a single SL.

You never know, the game is full of really really bad light pilots.
They run in straight lines everywhere and occasionally stop.

The stalker is pretty slow in moving it's upper torso so I'm still getting used to it. My aim isn't that bad though

Besides, all it takes is one good shot. 60 Alpha will rip off the outer and core armor in any light mech, and if they're using an XL engine, even better.

People wonder how you or others can get such good shots off, and truly its because of the years of CS learning how to aim at laggy people. Game maybe old, but those of us who have grown up using a mouse/kb will forever have high kills and use high skill weapons to deadly effect. These new kids and those....joysticks.....will never know the true control one has with a mouse.

you think 6 PPC is fun, then you should try my 5 LL+5 SRM6 Alpha Ambush stalker. 120 Damage alpha strikes leave a slight dent

STK-5M
XL 255
15 DHS
526 Armor
5 Large Lasers
5 SRM 6 (2 tons ammo)

Very limited life span of the SRM's but doing that much damage u dont need to fire very many times.
