"....In other news today. There have been many reports that the venerable Templar mercenary unit has taken contract with House Kurita. Reports from Davion commanders at the battle for Bettendorf state that the attacking Kurita units were members of said mercenary unit.

For our views who are unaware; the Templar mercenary unit has been one of the Davion mercenary companies deployed to some of the most vicious fighting along many border worlds. Some of those key worlds have been: Graham IV, Berenson, Zion, and Asuncion. We've all heard of the now legendary siege of Asuncion, an this was the mercenary company that was confirmed to lead the siege which lasted for 3 days - after which, the companies standard was found to be flying over the capitol of Asuncion.

If the reports are true that the Templar mercenary company has taken contract with House Kurita; The other noble houses should put themselves on notice."

I actually had not realized the siege of Asuncion was legendary for anyone but us. Well I don't know if that is good or bad... Hmm oh well. Either way when we end up on the other side from you guys we know we are in for a fight.

Hello! I'm a new initiate member, and a brand new MWO player. I wanted to give recognition to the Templars for their members' maturity, willingness to help, and their overall code of conduct.

I had a lot of fun hopping on the teamspeak server and people immediately inviting me to go on drops with them. I ended up joining due to the quality of character of the members I have interacted with this far.

"This Pete Ryan reporting from Terra. Today the New Avalon Patriots have won this years Interstellar Super Bowl against the Tharkad Seahawks. It was an amazing game, however we're here to report on other news this evening.

​House Davion's world of Skat has fallen to the forces of House Kurita on this day. Reports are vague, however they all seem to state one common fact. The assault on the world of Skat we lead by Lord Dalen's Rough Necks - a Templar mercenary unit division. Many Davion commander's point to the battle of Bettendorf, where it is assumed that said mercenary unit was involved on behalf of House Kurita, that in fact that mercenary unit is now under contract with House Kurita.

The sun has yet to break above the skies of Skat, but all eyes will be pointed toward the capitol to see who's standard flies above.

Though the Davion's may have won a great battle on Terra, they may have lost a war this evening. This is Pete Ryan signing off."
