Pretty please? I went Raven in Closed Beta, but decided for atlas in Open Beta because variants are more equal and equaly fun to get exp for.

but,
I'd expect there are some experts here that could tell that kind of information too. I've seen seen a visual info sheet with circle representations of every mech's arm and torso twist floating around, I would not know how to find it, but it may or may not add to the discussion.

First thoughts:
•Raven is taller
perhaps better at getting a peak over a ridge?
•Raven has skinnier legs
•Raven has a larger body
Hardpoints:
•2X has more of its load in the side torsos, and none in the center
perhaps, even if these Jenners can fit a larger engine, because the Raven is free in the center torso, its easier to do so.

The 3L has a faster engine capability than the other two, a good mix of hardpoints for a light, 3 module slots rather than 2. And who can forget the mighty ECM.
The 4X gains you jumpjets but I feel the ballistic hardpoints are wasted as the machine guns are next to useless and autocannons are heavy to squeeze into a light mech unless you boat them and forget the other hardpoints. It shares the slower engine speed of the 2X and 2 module slots as standard. Might get better after Mgun buff.
The 2X's only 'benefit' is that it has more energy hardpoints. It has the same slow speed and only 2 module slots standard and no hardpoints in the left arm.
I asked Garth about it in the ask the devs section (link here) and he basically glazed over the question and said theres a huge list of balancing factors and that he likes his raven 2X. (He's a known laser boater so that makes sense I guess)
As far as I can tell, the main balancing factor is the cost to buy it which has very little effect on in game play.
Getting back to the jenners, the only reason to get a raven 2X rather than a jenner K is if you wanted to put in a missile weapon larger than 2 criticals. Jenner K will not accept an artemis SRM6, or any LRM bigger than 10.

Lets keep this focused on the 2X variant and the K and D Jenner varient. I left out the Jenner F as it lacks missiles. Lets also leave out Raven to Raven comparison as the 2X has more laser hardpoints than those varients. Thank you.
