At first glance the peformance seems improved.

I cap fps at 45 to not notice drops, usually I saw huge load on one core ~30% on the rest, distribution seems more even now.

only played one game, dropped to 41 fps at some point, usually it drops to 37, have to play some more games to make sure.

Core i5 750 @ 4.2 Ghz, 8GB ram, gtx470 (not gpu limited, no aa and 1280x960 res) win7x64.

edit: after 8 games and looking at the fps graph I'd say performance is slightly better, minimum fps has gone up slightly, in an 8v8 big brawl it still drops to 30 though.

My frame rate seems to have gone up in some situations and down in others. When loading, or not moving I am at about 56FPS, when moving around I am at about 40-50, In bigger fights I am at 29-35.

core i7 920 overclocked to 3.8Ghz
GTX560
6Gb DDR3 1600

Edit: oddly enough switching from medium setting to high setting actually helped my framerate. It is a little more stable now 35-45 FPS in fights.

Also, some maps still seem to be worse than others.

Edit Edit: I also seem to be warping A LOT.

Cable internet (comcast)
usually around 27-35ms ping

wow. i don't mean to rant guys, but you seriously screwed me with this patch. FPS are down (AGAIN) to 15-20 across the board on all maps! it doesn't matter what i do with settings it's just bad. i will try a fresh install and see if this fixes things for me

The Space Pope's FPS has fallen completely, before the patch he had a stable 50-75, now he has 6 fps unless running on lower resolutions and lowest settings in which case he can play but with varying fps which sort of ruins his fun regardless of setting or resolution.

I am not sure what they did in this patch, but its ruined the game for me, pretty much literally. My performance dropped from about 26-30fps at 1080p down to about 17 or 18. I could live with that, just drop the graphical detail down a few notches and im good to go until they resolve the graphics issues, but that's not the biggest problem.

Things are lagging out, jumping around and just generally twitching. The game is behaving like I have a really terrible ping, but I am in Canada, so I tend to have @ a 20ms ping. Worse, there are times it pauses for a second or two... just like the game freezes up, then goes back to normal. That's pretty much a death sentence if you are in the thick of things.

i7, 16GB, GeForce 560M with 2GB dedicated are the machine specs. Until this patch I have had zero performance issues.

Anyone else suffering similar problems? I asked in game chat, and a teammate said he was down about 50% framerate wise.

The Space Pope noticed a similar and tragic result for himself.

He would suggest you post in this thread:
http://mwomercs.com/...ivity-feedback/

Listing your problems and computer setup, so the devs can hopefully get an idea what is going on.

My framerate is down about 25-50%, enemies are acting lagged ( teleporting, rubberbanding ) even though I have an < 30ms ping. Game worked fine pre-patch. Worse, it actually freezes up for a second or two at a time occasionally. Basically unplayable now... god I wish I could pause founders bonus....

not happy. lag is terrible now. has been fine since months before open beta. mechs teleport every couple of metres or i get lag stall and everything has to speed up like fast forwarding a video. pretty much unplayable!

GUTED! i love this game as well.

roughly 150ms ping.

frame rate is up though! not bothered

I'm really tired of babysitting these threads where people have no clue how to participate in an open beta. Instead of crying and threatening to run away, how about you just say "Hey devs, got some funky FPS stuff going on JUST LIKE YOU SAID MIGHT HAPPEN IN THE PATCH NOTES! Here's my system specs".

But, no. You people have to cry and ***** and moan that it's not good enough for you. Personally, I'm seeing about the same framerates. Maybe a small improvement. The internal testers CAN'T test on all hardware. That's why open beta exists. It's your job to come here and tell the devs what's wrong and your system specs. It is NOT your job to come and sound like a baby that just got his lollipop taken away.

Grow up.

Shut up.

It played fine yesterday, is basically unplayable today for some of us. If the game was broken for you, you wouldn't come in to the PATCH FEEDBACK THREAD!!!! and give feedback.

Yes, you would.

So kindly, shut up and go away.

I'm experiencing the same thing, but with a < 30ms ping. It's not lag, or at least I dont think it is. Whats your video card/cpu by the way?

stop playing at "1080p"?

btw, the P stands for Progressive Scan and I stands for Interlaced. Computers always use P, so you're "playing" at a resolution of 1920x1080, and this has a HUGE effect on graphical performance compared to playing at 640 or 720 or 800 or 1024 or 1280 or 1600, etc etc.

Your computer is constantly "rendering" via calculations and math, it's not a movie screen where the visuals are canned and just redrawn by 1's and 0's.

At only a 2gb RAM machine, with 4gb being the supposed minimum, bump your resolution down to something reasonable.

Also check to make sure that V-sync is disabled and your visual settings are set to low. All my visual settings get reset every patch, leading to horrors of memory leaks and stepping "outside ram" with MWO.

very bad fps, high is 15-20 lowest 4-10, befor patch was running 15-20 unless in a big fight.

im using a craptop, I5 2430m, 2.4ghz with 3.0ghz turbo, intel hd 3000 graphics, 6gb ddr3
connection down 50-60 mb/s up 2-3 mb/s

(not a computer wiz, i know i should be on a gaming pc but hey some of us just make do)

I would suggest redownloading the client, checking your windows power settings and reducing the resolution as suggested above.

He has 2GB Dedicated to the video card. Do you really think somebody with those specs is only going to have 2GB of RAM?
