I am buying Thrustmaster T16000M (
http://joysticky.heu...16000m/galerie/), for both MW:O and IL2. Didnt get a hand on it yet, but it should be one of the most precise sticks you can buy now. Importantly, it has 4 axis which is what I need (Z for torso twist and a throttle stick). It doesnt have that much buttons though, so keyboard is still necessary.
Joystick that I would recommend to anyone, is Saitek Cyborg Evo (
http://images.produc..._cyborg_evo.jpg). Its an older stick, I had it for 7 years before it broke. But it has really good layout, many well positioned buttons, 4 axis, good for both left and right handed, very comfortable overall. You might have problems finding a new one (dont EVER buy second hand joystick!!!), but its quite cheap, and I loved it, and so did many others.
Saitek Cyborg fly-5, which OP mentioned, is basically new Cyborg Evo. But, I heard that its not that well made, and also its too light, so you might experience a lot of moving around on the table. I didnt try it myself, only had a hand on it in shop, and I just did not liked it as much as older Cyborg. I wouldnt say its a bad joystick, but I would still recommend getting the older Cyborg Evo instead. The fact that it costs little more that the new fly-5 (at least in my country) speaks for itself.
Sorry for bad grammar
