Mine is max armor, STD 200, 18 DHS, 6MLas 2ssrm2s, basically it is a great 6MLas platform, when hit detection work - it's 30 damage! like 2 Gauss rifle shots! And streaks is a support weapon against lag shitshield lights.

Unusual hunchback and definitely not a top competitor like 4sp, but it can be effective.

Unless you run more than 4t ammo, you can stuff it all into the legs, just remember to pack more armor onto the legs also.

I put heat sinks in the legs for the bonus water bonus. I almost never strip armor from the legs. If I do it's just to make up a half tons worth of ammo. For the 4J I don't usually add ammo, I find the two tons viable for most matches. I never used double heat sinks in it either. In part because I like stashing them in the legs, and I made most of my builds before doubles were available. They work with out them so I didn't see the need to change.

If I did I would probably use the extra weight to make the arm lasers in to pulses and add a ton of ammo.

DHS, constant and much stronger than SHS. Since the first 10 engine DHS is 2.0(true DHS) it's much better than water.

Let me revive this thread....

I actually found a loadout that works well for me: HBK-4J

It's a nice support mech.
The only thing that really annoys me is that it cannot shoot 20 missiles at once unless you use 2xLRM10 instead of 1xLRM20.
Which means +1 ton for Artemis. I hate this. I mean, the Cent can shoot 18SRMs out of 10 tubes and the Awesome 60 LRMs out of 30 tubes. But this thing shoots only 10 LRMs out of 20 tubes?!!? :P

Can't say I like hunchbacks that much. They seem to easy to kill. Though this is just a personal opinion though.
