But only on the following conditions:
1. It was a subscriber only game
2. It was a finished product, like EvE, with a fullout metagame and working strategic production economy.
3. Developers did not cater to the whines of the pub-lic.

I have no idea what this poor attempt at a poor man's troll means.
This troll aside, many other developers have implemented equally quality products on sub-C$10MM budgets.
The key point that those developers did, vs PGI was; they did not sway from the design, and second they did not cater to freemium players.

That about sums it up... Who do you think this game is marketed to, a handful of hardcore fans that amount to nothing more than an obscure clique in the online gaming community, or the thousands/millions of people in the general public..??
.
You see that over there..?? It's a forest, and those are called trees...

No, I don't think you understand what I have said.
I will say this again freemium...
More teams have built better, at better value for less. Think about what I have said really hard and stop giving people false impressions about what this game is possible of achieving if PGI stops listening to poor posters.

Ok. Lets do away with adhomin attacks and poorly drafted parables. Because you are only thread ******** faster then I care to quote you.
1. The forums have not produced accurate or proper game draft suggestions for a long time now, at least Closed Beta. Prove me wrong here
2. Game companies who have elected to follow the freemium model, and ignored most of the pub whines, were able to focus on crafting a quality product, that in the end proved to be a well balanced development model catered to the guys who actually pay their revenue costs. Planet side 2 is a prime example of this.
Not sure what you really misunderstand about this draft concept. Do you need some spreadsheets of this very plain concept ? Because we really can turn this into reconstructing PGI's burn rate if you really want.
