Maybe we need 1 vs 1 dueling system so people who want to duel honorably can do it without ruining everyone else's game. Right now there are some honorable duels happening in the 8 vs 8 matches, but it has two problems:

1) If the duelers are on same team, it will negatively affect the team as they lose one player
2) Sometimes even when duelers are on opposite teams, other players intervene and start shooting LRMS or lasers at the duelers

If we would have a game mode "duel" where you can challenge your friend or enemy for duel, that would solve some of this. It could work in the same way as groups now. You would create 2 man group with your duel friend, and then launch for 1 vs 1 duel.

No member of the Word would ever so heinously misspell 'hounourable'. I'm insulted by your insinuations.

I too played in a game with this piece of walking feces. The same name that others have mentioned. He even was dumb enough to post in this thread and be against an anti griefing policy. He really is just animated garbage and a waste of skin. Hopefully PGI bans him and keeps banning him everytime he tried to create a new account.

I played with this player today - he challeneged me to a 1v1 duel and I accepted, clan style. I for one actually like when people decide to have fun with the game, and/or enjoy the extra bits of lore. As long as he doesn't DIRECTLY negatively affect the match, I don't care whom he challenges.

But on another note, lighten up people haha. What happens when you lose a match? It's no worse if some guy goes around challenging people to duels, than for another to just disconnect immediately and abandon the team - but in either case it's not like you lose anything, especially since they removed repair costs.

Why is this thread here?

Despite the fact he liked his own post (lolsad), he has a point.

If you care enough to report another player then do it and move on. Another round is just a few seconds away and hey, it's only a game. As has been proved in this thread, QQing about it on the forums only feeds the trolls.

I just played a match with the mentioned player, Dummschau, and I had a lot of fun with him. He asked if someone wanted to 1 on 1 so I agreed, hoping to blast his hunchback with my dual ac2s and quad medlas cat. He gave me a location far from battle and politely asked others to not attack us. He was very polite throughout all of this. It was a great duel, I was one shot away from finishing him with his all red armor and missing arm but he was too mobile and accurate in taking me apart one shot at a time. Afterward we exchanged pleasantries, compliments, and I thought it was really fun. He went right from the duel to fight the enemy and managed be the last brawler alive and most productive team player overall. Scenarios are what make games fun and the little variety in play modes invites us to try to make our own rules as long as they dont bother other players. I have only played pick up games and was glad to be included in a change of pace. I do not question all of your experiences but I know that its possible he is learning to be a team player as time goes on. Many of us never had proper social conventions taught to us, and sometimes its good, for the offender and yourself, to simply be patient with the rare person acting out. I dont know him personally and have not had much experience with greifers in this game at all. Just my two cents and a little context, whatever that is worth.

I know who that guy is and I killed him on that only game I ran into him in my Flame. No problem at all... I don't know how he wiped out your whole team... face to face, I have more speed and more firepower and more armor in my Quad-Large Laser Flame than his laser hunchie... piece of cake.

I played with this tool too, it is tremendously annoying and I am thinking that this kind of player should not be coddled. Obviously he is getting away with repeatedly team killing and griefing so why can we not 'name and shame' him? He IS acting shamefully and deserves it.

[REDACTED] needs to be banned. End of story. Constant team killing is unacceptable.

PS: If you want to limit 'name/shame' threads perhaps you should create a more user friendly report tool.

Ah, and by the way, this player - [REDACTED] - is actually PROUD of the fact that he is team killing and is quite pleased with his little forum post.

Why aren't you even in a clan mech, CLAN WARRIOR? May I suggest you start your nonsense only after you actually get into a clan mech?

But since I'm around right now, I'll remind everyone that Name and Shame Threads are not allowed on the Forums... Since the OP self edited his post and he has already submitted reports I'm locking this one down...
