The "good" things


-added premium mechs with hard points unable to obtain for free players
-added colors and cockpit items for insance price tags
-added new basic mechs
-fixed very few bugs

The "bad" things

-removed knockdown to reduce tactics and imbalance lightmechs
-changed economy to reduce tactics since winning or capping is useless now. Only damage matters.
-changed economy to have less income than before, reduced immersion
-added ECM to completely **** up the way this game was played
-added only variants of existing maps and still we only have FOUR small maps to play on
-added halfassed conquest mode on maps not designed for that.
-added double heatsinks which are a mess (not 2x, too many hardpoints)

The "other" things
-added Endo and Ferro which are pretty useless for heavy and assaultmechs due to hardpoints
-changed the social interface multiple times and added nothing new
-most bugs are still there
-tweaked LRMs multiple times, changed nothing in the end
-changed mapmaking twice, still sucks
-added new bugs

Feel free to add stuff I forgot.

PGI managed a solid "D+" with the dreaded "Come See Me" note in red at the top of the test.

I blame Paul, because how can a super Troll like him not crack the whip harder on the pubbies in the dev pit?

well maybe you guys should be making the game then since you have all the answers.

I'll admit that there are some things that frustrate me about the game that I really want fixed but I know they are working on it. the last patch gave me my first performance increase in ages and while most of the bugs still seem to be with us I seem to be suffering from them less often.

less QQ more PewPew buddy. this is still a great game that is all manner of fun to play. get over yourself

Yep knockdowns were removed solely for the purpose of making light mechs indestructible, and has nothing to do in any way with code problems.

Nope. They're intentionally ******* with you.

Really, I managed to kill lights in every other MW game I played without collision. I'm so glad it's gone and I hope it never comes back. They need to fix netcode to allow people to hit lights, not bring back collision.

Beyond that you're pretty spot-on, especially regarding Conquest mode. Seriously, add respawns to conquest mode and it will actually work. Until then, it's just another flavor of TDM just like Assault.

respawns? really? I'm sorry but no. please no respawns ever. that is a terrible idea. having one life forces you to be careful and not just derp-charge into the enemy with all guns blazing. I do NOT regret that I have but one life to give.

Oh look, another "sum-up" thread disguised as another way to get your complaints off your chest.
Seeing as how 100% of these "bad" things are known issues and have been beaten to death, it's kind of a useless thread.
You seem to make the the "good" list pretty short, and there's a few "bad" things that are entirely based off of your biased opinion...

Not really part of the game, but they have half assed banners around the net for ads

i think the issue is PGI has no real vision for where we're going, other than mass producing premium items

so they wait for people to ***** and then change game bits accordingly
