Pretty sure TTGL would send it to another universe.

Only way to settle the BT vs Anime Mecha is to get a Warhammer to fight a Destroid Tomahawk

I see what you did there! XD

Posted ImageBut really, need to stop making threads like this. They always degenerate into "whose better than who" thread, and with the MW fans not knowing much about the Gundam except that they think it sucks...

...Well, yeah. *facepalm*

Yeah cause nothing says "Subtlety" like the ZGMF-X20A STRIKE FREEDOM Gundam. <_<

Okay just googled for this "thing"

Quote

  • MX2200 Beam Shield Generator
Strike Freedom has a beam shield generator on each of its forearms. They can effectively block most beam attacks, but fluctuate if the beam strike is too powerful. Kira Yamato was seen using the Strike Freedom's beam shields both defensive, such as when blocking Destiny's anti-ship sword, and offensive, by ramming them at Legend's torso.

I wonder why the ECM cannot create a shield against lasers. Maybe I PM Paul about it.

You overlooked this wonderful bit of armament....it's wings.
Remote weapons: EQFU-3X Super DRAGOON (Disconnected Rapid Armament Group Overlook Operation Network) mobile weapon wings (mounts 8 x MA-80V beam assault cannon).
I'm almost ashamed I know this crap. :D

As far as PM'ing Paul. I would love to see the response on that one. <_<

Dude, I don't want to scream "GETTTAAAA BEEEAAAMMMM!!! " EVERYTIME I fire off a laser....Okay, so what if I am already doing it now.

Not to mention if we're having lag shield problems with 100KM/H mechs; imagine Giant Robo travelling at LIGHT SPEED!

Maybe in the future, we can have Japanese Mecha camo designs.

Didn't we just have this same post yesterday but with the OP asking for Voltron and Megatron instead of mecha?

That's stupid.

Plus, I didn't ask for Japanese Mecha to be in Mechwarrior. I asked for Mechwarrior to be in Japanese Mecha.

I love all giant mecha. I don't care if an Atlas can't stand up to the Giganscudo or the At-ST loses to Gurren MKII

This would be great if they were even close to being the same.

One obvious thing that separates them, is Anime Mecha completely ignore physics. Even BT(MWO) throws some physics to the wind, but not like Anime mecha, not even close. All you have to do is watch one random Gundam, don't care which series, watch a Mecha do 500kph or more, then instantly side step, come to full stop, change direction in a 90 degree angle, etc....pretty much any move that makes them exciting in the first place....would turn their pilots to slush.

For cartoons, I can allow that kind of sci-gnorance...and well, even for games like Hawken, which cannot be taken seriously. For this....NO.

Sorry, but we've thrown enough immersion to the dogs in favor of dumb ideas for the lazy, we certainly don't need to shoehorn some other company's completely incompatible IP just because someone is a 'fan'.
