I always thought it was the Law of Anime Physics.

Remember, bikinis offer more protection than bodyarmor.

Once you factor in the distraction bonus, it *is* much better.

All I can say is... PLEASE NO ANIME! Of course I am pretty sure I don't have to worry about it. I do not like Anime, I totally think that art style looks stupid. I know it has a big following, and that is okay. Just be okay with me saying it looks stupid because I think it does.

Gundam, don't care which series, watch a Mecha do 500kph or more, then instantly side step, come to full stop, change direction in a 90 degree angle, etc....pretty much any move that makes them exciting in the first place....would turn their pilots to slush.

For cartoons, I can allow that kind of sci-gnorance...and well, even for games like Hawken, which cannot be taken seriously. For this....NO.

Sorry, but we've thrown enough immersion to the dogs in favor of dumb ideas for the lazy, we certainly don't need to shoehorn some other company's completely incompatible IP just because someone is a 'fan'.
;)

Henchman, now that slush comment is too funny. Slush is perfect, you did not say goo or something else. Slush just cracked me up.

Hey now... sure, looks are subjective.

But while I actually like the feel of MW's mechs (slow, heavy, stompy and so low-tech they're almost steampunk-like), I do think they're the ones that look stupid, while a lot (not all, but a lot) of Japanese mech designs look good.

Great Mazinger has panache. Also the very worst intro theme of any anime ever, but... panache!

Good one. Law of Anime Physics, i can believe that. Don't forget about the 'speed of plot'. Boy the things you could do with; (Law of Anime Physics + speed of plot)size of bikini

We would win with Raven,Jenner ,and Commando lag shield mechs, they would run circles around everything ,use their lag shielding to not take damage, ecm to not be seen ,and last but not least be able to alpha strike any japanese mech in to oblivion why they go into their 5 min "ultimate attack" animation, that doens't seem to ever destroy their opponent anyway. Not to mention I believe all anime pilots are the generic,, emo ,brooding ,I- don't -wan-t to- fight-but- have to-pilots .why our lights are just bat-**** crazy!

ok in space mechs are pretty damn fast, I remember some space missions in MW2M, Had an atlas going at 300kph walking, throw in the jump jets and I was doing almost 800kph. Older game could put jump jets on an Atlas, I watch gundam, and BT, play both of them. Mechs could work in SRW, I even have a rare english gba SRW OG2 taisen. No matter what you say If you put ecm lrm, boats, and ecm snipers in to SRW they will be dangerous. Even in the robotech games missle spam was a pain to deal with, hell robotech is famous for missle spam. So hey put a 50 lrm stalker in to srw, put an ecm twin guass mech into srw and it will hammer bosses from out of their range. Heck a lrm boating stalker would make an AC run, I should know used to use a 96 missle spam AC before my 360 was stolen. Also think about it if they put BT in to srw we would get our Unseen mechs Seen again.

Yes, the Battlemech could be inside the Super Robot Taizen game.
As the target practice, you know as old junk of robot created before the invention of the "Gilardo-Yamakoshi **** Law of Physics Engine"

In any way, the only way for BT mech to win, would be to have a giant holoprojector streaming **** behind them. Because that's pretty much the ECM of any Anime teenage pilot.

One of my favorites was the 'Law of Dramatic Importance'. If something really epic or important happens, they show it three times, all from different angles.

You know, compared to MWO mechs, even Boss Borot is pretty agile.

I wonder if it'd be able to kill Ravens just by grabbing them and throwing them into walls.

Boss hating ravens is already canon, so that makes sense!

I don't see why not.
Would love to see the original RX-78-2 Gundam fall to the might of urbanmechs after the lace leader shouts "ITS MORPHIN' TIME", and all six mechwarriors in the lance proceed to transform and merge their urbies into the mighty Atlas after magically change their outfits to red, black, blue, pink, yellow, and white tights.

Alright.

Atlas versus Giganscudo.

How exactly does the Atlas beat a mecha more than 4 times its weigh and size?

They too will fall under the might of the urbies.
Because unbeknownst to everyone in the 31st century, urbanmechs are actually constructed on an advanced version of the so-called psycho-frames. With proper training, and specialized neurohelment, an urbanmech equiped with C3 slave can act as funnel and perform coordinated attack as long as there are friendly mechs equiped with C3 master :)

Easy to answer, the Enterprise. Just watched Return of the Jedi. Two good hits destroyed Vadors super star destroyer. Okay so it lost navigation control and crashed into the Death Star. Still two hits and its out of commission.

Hey wait who started the silly yet entertaining cross over fights topic? :)

I don't know about you guys, but wouldn't the Enterprise pretty much beat any spaceship? I mean in canon it can pretty much do everything.... I mean you can have super duper mega shields... and with the right change to a focusing dish and extra power from the engine and you're dead anyway.

And Picard is just a a bad ***.
