300 XL Engine, 4xLLs, 0.93 heat efficiency, how can i improve my stalker?

edit: in the interest of full disclosure. my stalker also has 4xSRM6s and 2xSLs. it still overheats though.. what can i do?!

for assults you want standard engine because most people will aim for shoulders but i never piloted a stalker so take your pick.

but put smaller weapons on your mech serisly

take the extra wieght and add armer and heat sinks. keep two or one large lazers.

also down grade your engine 50-45 kph is plenty speed for a assult mech and also use that extra wieght for heat sinks and armer.

usually when one pilot gets a score like that and the rest of the drop gets really low scores like the SS then it's because the rest of the team sucks.

Don't worry about it, we were all noobs at some point. First thing you want to do is get rid of that xl engine, then remove those 4 LL's.

A XL is madness in a Stalker, I agree. But what is wrong with LLs?

Well if you want an actual answer, you could drop to 300std, 24DHS (=39,6SHS) and the 4 LLas you already had. If you have the 5M you can add an extra MLAS to CT to use up the leftover ton, or MPulse if you drop some leg armor. Either way, not having XL engine lets you survive losing a side torso, and I've never lost the arms on my stalker before losing the side torsos, so losing your weapons isn't that likely, unless the torsos get shot off, of course. Also with the 5M you won't be left a one-torso wonder with no weapons, but you won't have the nice torso twist of 3F so there's that.
