I joined this fine organization just recently, so I will admit my biased-opinion now.

As I currently serve in the United States Military, It is of my opinion that this unit is on par with real life organizations for its pride in tactics, training, history, lore, and, most importantly, "espirt de corps". Not only do they take great care in how they represent themselves as a unit or individuals, but also take great pains and efforts in developing their new members and trainees.

All in all, I rate this organization a 9.5 / 10, just due to the fact that no one can be perfect.

I can say, on ts1.housesteiner.com, these guys always got some folks on to play with. Of all the house units, I gotta say these guys are my favorite . Lots of military and former military too.

Hola Monk,

I'm interested in joining a unit. Tried the Skye Rangers but the application isn't working and the gentleman I've been working with hasn't gotten back to me in a couple of days.

I'm a Department of the Army Civilian, former Soldier, currently deployed to Bagram Airbase Afghanistan so my connections aren't the greatest and my play times are a little weird (8.5 hours ahead of EST) but hopefully that won't be an issue.

I pilot a modified Awesome packing 4 ER PPC's, a BAP, Ferro Armor and Endo Steel Structure. Top speed is 60.7kph so keeping up isn't overly difficult.

Really just trying to find a group that knows how to work together, tired of getting beaten because everyone does their own thing.

If you'd care to join us there and start dropping with us, we'll get you in a group right away and start having fun.

Joining the 5th was one of the best things i have done for mechwarrior, i have finally found a group that has all that i have wanted, Teamwork community and Comrodery. Monk has always been very helpful and unlike most other CO's of units ive been in he is one of the most amazing non power hungry CO i have met.
