When you are wearing the tags of a community moderator, it is not in fact "just your opinion". You are given a mantle of authority and with it comes responsibility to act professionally.
If you were using an alt account that did not reveal your moderator identity, this would be different, but you don't do that. You 'moderate' arguments between clans while wearing banners for your own clan. You argue your personal opinion while logged in to an account that reminds others that you have power over them.
Stop stating "just your personal opinions" when you are logged in as a mod. It's unprofessional and inappropriate.
I cannot possibly agree with this more. The idea of giving someone moderation power who is biased towards a particular group they will be moderating is ridiculous enough, but giving your own personal feelings while acting as a moderator is just taking this too far. So long as you are acting as a community moderator all your expressed personal opinions will be viewed as the opinions of those who 'hired' you.
