I didn't know about the cadet bonus, no wonder I had 6million c-bills in about an hour of play, I was wondering about that. Too bad I blew it trying to figure out buying mechs, lol, guess I'll have to open another account, lol. Thanks for the info.

i have been told to uninstall ,called names , poeple posting non facts, 80% of these replys are filled with anger and hate all because i think the game takes to long to play. it shows who really posts in these forums. good luck with your miserable lives

You act like 400 games is a lot. I've played over 1000 games since Open Beta. Probably another 2000 in Closed Beta.

What you call 'grind' I call 'game'.

To me it's like saying, "I wish I could be really good at hockey without playing! Those guys bought new skates so that makes them better skaters than me! Hockey is P2W!"

Hey, you are the one who does not like the game and whines about having to play a couple hours before buying the preferred mech.

Btw., I just checked: It took me me 725 games since open beta to earn 100.4 mil C-Bills. That is 138k a match with premium and maybe 20% founder's mech bonus. What surprised me most is the 725 games. Because you know what? I like playing the game just for fun and did not even realize I have played it that much.

Don't like to play, don't do it. No one is forcing you to spend time or money on this game.

Well, if you like the game get out there and play. By the time you finish basic and saved up for elite on your first mech, you will have the Cbills to buy your second mech. Do the same, you will have the Cbills for your third.

Just as another example - the only thing I've paid for is 1 - Yen Lo Wang which I don't even use, and 44 mech bays. I play a bit here and there leveling a set of mechs through basic and purchasing another and have, other than engines in a few variants, built up 25+ separate mechs in a couple months.

If you want to make money take the time to become proficient in a couple different mechs to the point your getting 4-8 kill assist, usually 3-4 kills, and a lot of component destruction, as well as a few spots every match. This is really not that hard to do as a free player and will fly you through the grind. 10-15 matches and your up a million with ease, 20-30 matches and your probably closing in on 3 million. And I can tell you from experience this is doable in just about every mech variant except maybe the jenner where you'll rely mostly on spots and kill assists, with a little component destruction.

So if your complaint is about the c-bill grind, I personally don't see it one bit - unless you think you should be able to unlock everything in a couple days. If that's what you think F2P means then you're probably not going to like it here.

of course this is assumeing you spent no money at all

An average game for me takes about 6 to 8 minutes. Re-do your math buddy.
