Game Takes To Long

1 There is no grind in this game, there is only the game. I can blow up any build of mech with any mech.
2 I am glad the OP is frustrated, the current system weeds out the weak.
4 This is not the thread you are looking for. *wave of hand*

Anyone who isn't pugstomping knows this, so I can only assume that the people denying it spend most of their time worrying about their stats.

I expect further balancing. You should too.

please break down HOW you are getting these amazing scores you must be a god! want to brag about something else that isnt big BUT you say it is?
I'm reasonably bad at the game. I started last month. I run exclusively pugs.
None of the videos I've posted show a win where I make less than 100k, typically more at 130k. That's at a fairly low average damage done of around 400.
Anyways, to your overall complaint: I don't want to see the game in a state where you'd make enough to buy every mech variant in a month of play period, even a month of hardcore play.
You'd run out of game in a month.
I only play a couple games a night, and hour tops. I've got elite in Dragons now, and an absurd amount of xp in a commando (my first mech). I've also owned a pair of stalkers, which I sold due to hating playing them. Getting Elite in my dragons means I've bought 3, and have sold the two I'm not playing actively.
That seems pretty reasonable - 6 mechs purchased(and outfitted! Millions more specific than right there) over about a month of very casual play.

so tell me Ozric, is that really not an ok amount of cash? with games taking an average... let's say 10 minutes, i make ~700k an hour.
If you play this game AND want to make progress, meaning leveling your mechs, you will get shitloads of money.
Right now i am mastering my stalkers and already have 4 Mios laying around to start my next mech to master.

This game is only considered p2w if you're an impatient little kid who just wants, wants, wants, wants, wants
Oh, and I only PUG. I dont want to listen to people telling me what to do

Ever have those mornings when you realize you posted in a thread you shouldn't have?

Myth, Rumour, Falsehood.
Up until about 2 weeks ago, I pugged 75-80% of the time. The remaining time was text only grouping...no Voice Whatsoever Until Christmas Eve. I average ~103k per game, and ~380XP per game. I have played over 1400 games since open beta and have a 757/667 W/L and a 1.10 K/D ratio. Other than the sheer number of games played (which in this case is helpful to establish a baseline) I have mediocre-at-best stats. I am very proud to say that I reached a 1.0 K/D ratio before EVER grouping, so no pugstomping here. This was also done with R&R still in game, and with artemis/streak/LRM expenditures.
I spend C-bills pretty willy-nilly...sporadically buying XLs and such to test new builds. Even with my spending, I own an HBK-4SP (fully upgraded, then sold, 2 other variants upon elite), an AWS-9M (expensive), and 3 'phracts (not counting the Ilya I bought for xmas) including the expensive 3D. So presently, I have owned 7 fullt outfitted mechs, pretty much every HS break-point engine I need, both XL and Standard, and large multiples of any weapon in the game....all F2P.
You'll also notice no founder's tag by my name. I tested (detailed) many different econmies in closed beta, and if you can't make money with this one, something is wrong. That 'something' can include anything from player skill, build choices, or severe bad luck...but it does not represent the present state of the game's economy. I now own an Ilya (30% boost) and am grouping regularily so my stats will most assuredly change for the better.
TL,DR: Play Better, The grind is the game, Spend real-life money if patience is not your forte', but do not blame the current easy-button economy.

And the amount of stupid in saying that this game is p2w is just so overwhelming I won't bother commenting on that at all...

So yeah, compared with other F2P titles, it is not a hard grind. Just play Assault mode and stack UAC5s.

1. 1ook per game
2. 15min games
3. 40mil divided by 100k = 400 games
4. 400 x 15 minutes = 6000 mintues or 100 hours
of course this is assumeing you spent no money at all
