Is there any updates this week? I have not seen a dev post in 2 weeks....

my guess is they are patching now, that's generally what maintenance means, that the game servers are down but not the authentication/forum servers.

It is the right time frame for it 10am PST - 1pm PST

It would be nice if you hit the Online/Offline/Maint. box it would tell you what is being done/why down etc along with upcoming patch notes.

Much more simple way to inform us as opposed to scrolling through forums or having to ask the same question again and again.

It would be pretty cool if they announced it ahead of time as well.

These guys are such ******* when it comes to public relations sometimes. Gives us a few hours warning, don't just drop the servers. Considering some of the developers actually play the game, and have allegedly played other mmos in the past, this is a glaring oversight that reeks of pure stupidity.

Some people have to schedule their MWO time, and when they do they get a pretty crappy experience when the servers drop with no warning.

*It's beta* Yeah we know, and a lot of people have paid real money to pay this *beta* game. Don't just drop the servers on us, give us some warning.

95% of the population doesn't give a flying f**k about twitter, and doesn't use it. If that's their notification system, they're barking up the ****** tree.

Erm your wrong on almost all counts. 10am PST - 2pm PST weekly on a tuesday is the regular downtime. If there is no patch, then there is an announcement saying "no patch this week".

No, in the developer's corner they stated that several key people won't be back on holiday until next week, which would indicate nothing was happening tonight.

My guess, and it is only a guess, is that this is normal maintenance along with some pre-loading of the upcoming patch for the 18th. We might get a small change, I would love the tweaks to the PPCs to come out, but I doubt it.
