Favorite is the Wolverine WVR-7K - Another major upgrade of the Wolverine, the 7K model is also built with an XL Engine for power. The saved weight has allowed the 'Mech to increase and upgrade its arsenal. The primary weapon is a Large Pulse Laser, which is backed up by a Medium and a Small Pulse Laser, as well as two SRM-6 launchers. The 'Mech uses thirteen double heat sinks to dissipate the added heat from the laser arsenal. Additionally, the 7K does have jump jets and can jump up to 150 meters.

UZL-2S.

Dual PPC's on a medium with 97kph top speed and jump jets? *Drools*

Too bad it isn't in timeline for a while :P

EDIT: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Uziel

Sarna said:

Built at Defiance Industries'Furillo plant, the Uziel is an effective medium 'Mech that is looked down upon by the LAAF simply because of where it is produced. The Uziel is built on a Foundation E50 Endo Steel chassis that has a GM 300 XL engine that provides the 'Mech with a top speed of 97.2 km/h. The 'Mechs mobility is enhanced with six Rawlings 50 jump jets that allow the 'Mech to jump up to one hundred and eighty meters. The Uziel is armored with eight tons of Maximillian 100 armor that gives the Uziel adequate protection from enemy fire. To dissipate the heat produced by the 'Mechs weapons, it carries eleven double heat sinks.

UZL-2S - Based on the original prototype of the Uziel, the 2S carries a pair of PPCs as its primary weapons for long range combat. A SRM-6 launcher provides close combat capabilities and a pair of Machine Guns provide anti-infantry capabilities. A Beagle Active Probe allows the 'Mech to detect hidden units and protects the Uziel from ambushes

Murader all the way. There was also a 100 ton version if memory served correctly, with a guass on the dorsal fin.

You're thinking of the Marauder II. Idk about BT, but in MW4 you could cram a Rail Gun into that dorsal slot.

I think I'll have to agree with the OP on this one. Vulture looks sick and acts mean.

Personally, I like the Catapult. It's a strong, long range mech, with an appearance I really like. Plus, for some reason the idea of cutting loose with 4 medium lasers at close range always amused me.

You can imagine why I'm rather happy now.

I'd be even happier if they had the Vindicator in as well, but oh well.

If mechs from mechassult on the xbox count my fave has to be either the blood asp or star adder. Both are very well armed and look amazing.

go to mech TR1 Wraith....how can you pass on a 7/11/7 mech with the pulse weapons. Assault mechs: DVS-2 Devastator and the Highlander. Remember opening TRO 2750 and looking at the image of the HGN-732. Also the Penetrator (6mpls)....and...and...

It's designed to hunt and kill Elementals. The electronics and AMS package lets it go into a hot zone, nab its prey, and ****** out without taking damage from support units.

I.S.: The Marauder (a childhood fav. since MW 2 :3) + Uziel

Clan: Timer wolf (Badass name, mix of Marauder and Catapult aesthetically, Weapon capabilities beyond comprehension) + Dire wolf + Summoner + Hellbringer + Mad Cat Mk 2 + Warhawk + Ebon-Jaguar

That's about it :P

(thought now i'm seriously reviewing my position in Liao...I'm not much a fan of I.S. technology. I'll prob join Clan Wolf in Exile)

Given a limited selection of "popular" mechs (as in the VWE pods or most of the Mechwarrior games), I tend to drive a Vulture/Mad Dog. However, I have a strange fondness for iconic clan second-lines, like the Piranha and the Kodiak, which is why Ghost Bear's Inception was my absolute favorite of all the PC games.

But my favorite mech out there? The Barghest BGS-1T. Why? Because I'm weird. There's just something about 70 ton quad with an LB20-X that makes me giggle.

Sry guys, i've forgotten to write about the "(and why)" in the topic name.

The Annihilator is one of my three fav. mechs because of its unique look and armament. In addition, many people hates it. That makes the Annihilator "sympathetic" to me. I really love the Annihilator since MW2: GBL.

The Warhawk is one of my fav. three mechs because it is just a beautiful and powerful OmniMech. As a kid, is saw it and fell in love with it. In addition it is a famous quality product of my favorite Clan (Smoke Jaguar).

Now the Tarantula. Max speed of 130 km/h, able to jump up to 240 meters and 360 degree torso twist combined in a sexy looking quadmech. Nuff said! In addition i keep Tarantulas (Birdeater's) as pets and breed them since 17 years. This makes the Tarantula to my personal TotemMech.

No winner, no loser. All three mechs are on my personal 1st place! :P

Hatchetman.

Posted Image
Because there is nothing more satisfying than delivering a hatchet blow right through the rear armor and into the ammo bin.

Sadly it has never received in canon the TSM Munchkin treatment it's always deserved.

I'll quit MW:O the day they introduce clan tech, and I'll come back the day they put in the hatchetman.

The Ventilator was published In BattleTechnology issue number 15. It's an 80 ton Star League Mech that never seemed to make it into the canon. I played it in a TT game campaign for over a year, and I grew to really like it.

Summoner, bar none, is my favorite. Vulture looks sweet, but they always blew up so quickly on me. Summoner has staying power for a fight, and a good punch on all variants to knock enemies out of the fight.

Yeah, I'm Jade Falcon at heart.

My first love when as a kid was the Mauler...it was on the mechwarrior 2 merc box, first game I have ever bought after saving for some 6 months or so! Maturity led me to the Warhawk, i guess from the sweat it gave me facing 1 in every single mechwarrior game, or with a lance of mediums in mechcommander ( 2 gauss 2 ppc !!!). Reading novels just consolidated that, good enough for Diana Pryde and Ranna Kerensky, good enough for me!
