The best mech ever is a Marauder. It looks better than anything in the universe, and even if it's not as effective as some other mechs in it's tonnage, it's better to die young and leave a good looking corpse than to live long, be lonely, and ugly, like anything that isn't a Marauder.

The MadCat doesn't count as one mech. It's two mechs squished together, and it's a freak of nature.

That's an epic reseen marauder!!!

Gotta give credit to the artist "Shimmering Sword" for that one.

Blood Asp for sure but i hated the mechassault design. either the prime or A version. 90 tons with jump jets, PPC's and heavy lasers? I'll take it! Posted Image

Star Adder for me... the other variant of the Blood Asp
.Posted Image

Although i would also dearly love to have the Vulture to.
And the Mad Cat/ Timber Wolf will always have a place in my heart, no need for a picture of the Mad Cat/ Timber Wolf and Vulture ... they should be ingrained into your souls.

As much as I love the Black Knight, I'mma hafta agree with an earlier poster and mention the Shadow Hawk. However, as neat as the base design is, playing a LAM variant of the classic is where it's at. Medium and small laser batteries, and a hatchet to top things off, and no mech will walk through my valleys and woods without fear.

I honestly got a friend of mine to play nothing with lower arm actuators just so he could get shots in when I'd jet in to his rear torso hex for a good wailing. The mobility of that thing in hybrid mode is just death upon Jump Jets.

I'd go for the Battlemaster but I never had a chance to pilot it though.
I also love the Warhammer design but same as the Battlemaster, I never had a chance to play with it.

Timber wolf was truelly the mech I was going for.

My thoughts exactly, that and also the Madcat. Though in big fights those lasers REALLY heat up.

Marauder all the way. It's a classic like a '67 Mustang GT500 fastback with PPC's.

Giddyup!

The Vulture is my signature mech. I love the fact that the cockpit is on the top of the mech - very good for stealth in the topography of the landscape.

And it looks cool too. I always prefer chicken walkers for some reason.

But, the Vulture isn't in MWO, so I may chose the Hunchback - I've got fond memories of it in MW4.

Nah - the Vulture is my base 'mech regardless.
