The Marauder IIC, Summoner, and Warhawk all have special places in my heart from Mechwarrior 2.

Oddly, though, I think the Sagittaire ranks fairly high on my list of favorites as well, despite not knowing it from much other than reading its loadout and looking at pictures of it. It's loadout fits my style, though, and it's just so... pretty...

I dont really like one mech thats my biggest favorite forever,I find the beauty in mechwarrior games that in each title I find
different favorite,like in each game I have different mech that I love

in mw3 I loved supernova
in mw4 I loved Kodiak

in mechcommander I loved Turkina

but it always have do something with clan assault having jump jets

That thing could zip around like no tomorrow and had the firepower to harass and even take down an assault mech if you were smart. It was probably the best maneuver warfare mech out of the bunch. All that while making a compact target for an opponent to hit.

My favorite classes are Medium and Heavy overall. Amusingly my favorite Chassis are the Solitaire and the Templar.

For me, it was first the Warhammer (since it was on the package when I bought the tt as a kid and the guns as hands was just so *cool*). After I got into the RPG rules, I went for Thunderbolt for the weapons and armor. I nowadays seem to go for mechs that have a spread of weapons and not specialized for anything in particular.

Come to think of it, Raven is neat too. Used to play with a Locust in light lance games and enjoyed the scouting. Never had the rules for Raven in any of the books I had, but I kinda like the look of it. Could be a nice change from the lumbering TDR-5S.

I used to run a small merc group against the other guys that played in my platoon when I was in the army. I had one Marauder in particular that seemed to be unkillable for some reason. It got to the point that they would throw everything they had at it just to try to bring it down, which left me able to accomplish things like mission objectives.... Fun times

Rifleman is definately my top mech, i used to strip out the ac5's and replace them with ac2's. made it a long range sniper with a better heat curve. Also have a lot of love for the stinger, uziel, stalker and shadowhawk.


Is that the 1st mention of the stinger on these forums cos i've not seen another!

timber wolf because it is so flexable and it can really be a excellent missile mech then turn into a mid range destroyer in seconds, plus it was one of the first mechs i ever saw so i really have to praise it

I used to hate this mech. Then I started using it.
Fast, perfect weapon loadout (for me), decent twist. It's low to the ground and the shape of the chasis somehow makes it great for spreading out damage.

btw, 2 lbx20 and 2 ssrm6 @ ~98 km/h
