How about you lagjocks who love your light mechs so much actually man up and start using a real mans mech that CAN be hit instead of running around in a fantisy world where your never hit and survive the entire match when you should have been wrecked along time ago.

Yes Im talking to YOU Mr.Raven pilot..... You with your false graphical representation and your warp that would make the starship Enterprise jealous. Be glad my AC20's don't have the ability to knock a mech down or I assure you that your days in MWO would be miserable indeed.

Been doing this more recently and while it can be tricky to do sometimes it's so satisfying. I've had light pilots complain about it but all I do is laugh.

The worst part is that the game tells you that everything was alright. You visually hit, you get the read crossair, yet it eats more damage than an Atlas and its armor is still orange. Definitely worth a rant everytime.

While I do some what agree with OP I will ask why is the Raven the pick of choice to blame? I remember recentley the Jenner was the beating bag of choice while the Raven was treated like the unwanted child cause it sucked. Now the raven has its perk in the game and gets some feild time and complaints are flying. Pleas guys pick your battles. The time will come when the exploit is fixed and those dependent on it will have to adjust again or die.
If you choose to epxloit any weaknesses in life then you will suffer when no such weaknesses are present.

I got so tired of getting 8 kills in my lag-shield-Jenner of 50-75 ping, I switched to my lag-sheild-Stalker at 50-75 ping and settled for 4 kills.

Nah, how about the devs grow a brain and remove the ECM from the very mechs that cant be hit due to their failure to code something that MMO's have been able to do for a decade by now.

ECM atlas = no problem.
ECM raven/commando/cicada = idiocy.

You know what? I never really truly observed the destructiveness of the lag shield until today. I've had plenty of brawls vs a light mech while I'm in something heavier and lag shooting was pretty minor. And it could go either way depending on my aim.

Today I was second to last to die and observed our lone Commando vs the remaining 3 mechs (1 Atlas, 1 Flame, 1 Cent). Mind you my ping was ~110 and this Commando's was ~40, and I watched him via spectator, and it was like a strobe light nothing was smooth on his end and his speed was only something like 110kph. And you know what he did (he already had a kill under his belt when I popped but he was lightly damaged) he Streaked the crap out of the poor Atlas barely getting hit, the Cent may as well have not been there since he just stood on the cap (literally no evasion) and didn't fire at the Commando, so he was obviously going to die, then vs the Flame which was pretty quick, they danced around the map, the Commando long using up its Streaks he killed this Flame, from ~80% health with his small laser, the only thing he had left. And the only thing the Commando had to show for it? A yellow left torso and arm. It was pretty unbelievable, the match summary showed this pilot was second in damage only to our Atlas...

My only light currently is my Jenner founder, I have 3 cents, 3 Phracs, and 3 Stalkers, I'll have 3 spiders soon too.
