We may be seeing a lot of this early on with all the people learning etc, but from what I've seen so far it would be difficult to "accidently" aim you LRM 20's at someone and hit them.
ill be piloting a catipult and from the video unless if your in your face close then none of my missles should hit you.

1. Dude fires shell/missile/laser
2. Weapon hits team mate
3. Shell does no damage, weapon reloads. Missile does no damage, weapon reloads. Laser does no damage, weapon charges. You are stuck with the heat and reload
4. ???
5. PROFIT! Nothing happens, but should some d-bag try to shoot an ally or you accidenlty hit someone...nothing happens but you are stuck with the annoying recharge and heat that occurs.
If you just turn off FF you lose the aspect of crossfire. With FF on you really have to think twice about firing at an enemy who has a friendly behind them, or firing into a group of mechs brawling at close range.

I think I saw a player named "the mittani" around here yesterday reading a topic. Might be just someone reserving the name but it could be the EvE's Goonswarm leader too!
Anyways since we really can't do anything about the possible TK'ers how about reducing the repair costs if you were TK'd? Yeah, abuse is possible but if it was limited to the first minute or so would make purposeful griefing harder and let you at least try to be useful. Of course it could be combined with a compensation from the TK and adding the player to the repeat offenders watchlist. If you lose the match but not any c-bills the griefing gets much less effective.

If PGI can't control griefing, I would rather some tactical depth be removed to make the game more fun.

That's the only TK process that sould happen or no process at all.
ie. It happens in PUGS more often than lance mates you train with. It's either part of life or go out of your way to run with people who aren't triggy happy apes.

It happened to my in WoT. I had a Tier 6 Arty. A heavy ran right into me causing light damage to me. I was in vent with fellow guild members. I complained. someone suggested giving him a love tap in his back side. SO I did. OOOPPS. I killed him. I had both side cursing me out.

A good point. I didn't specify: said arty was tier 6, and by that point, I think you can be expected to know how to play the game. It takes a few hundred matches to get there. Had he been tier 2 or 3, I would have been a great deal more forgiving and told him not to fire when friendlies are so close, assuming they didn't know better.
