Maybe a color change although i get used to it as it is lol.
Also I would suggest to add weapons and engine caractheristics directly on them when you add them to the mech. There is enough space to add range/damage/heat/weight even for the 1 crit weapons...adn will be usefull to see them there all the time, I know i would like to see them there
.
another thing - maybe add the possibility to set the timescale on the firepower analysis. default is 10 sec but i want to see over 20 for example and set it as default.
put a max armour button to fill instantly the armor.
thanks for the program and don't let it die, don't pay attention to others who were bashing your work. It is a great program.
Planning to put the color of weapons/ammo/modules into user settings in the future
.
For weapons, there is a tooltip that shows a bit more info. I'll try to see if I can add more information, but I want to ensure everything is still readable on medium resolution (1280x1024).
Remembering the last used time as the default for the next simulation is a good idea, I'll add it to the to-do list. Also for the 'max armor'. Thinking of which, I might do a 'distribute x tons of armor'. So it just sets enough armor to distribute the specified weight.

another suggestion - add the c-bill price and mc price where there is one for mechs/items. Probably it can be imported from game files aswell.
thanks.
I would like to add them, but haven't found them in the files yet. It would be nice to have some sort of BoM (Bill Of Material) overview, that just lists all the things you need, but it would be pretty useless without the c-bills/MC price. For me it is not a high priority.

Smurfy? yeah, it's so easy to trade builds with friends in Vent chat or adjust things your buddy is working on.
It was a long drive home and I'm tired so I'll bite.
I have only taken a short look at smurphy a few days ago and can't say anything bad about it. It looks nice, seems complete for a mechlab and like you say, it is easy to share mechs with it.
Does that make it the one tool for everybody: nop.
Just like CocaCola is not the one cola brand for everybody: some prefer Pepsi or even something else. This is not a beauty contest or presidential race where there can be only 1. I see both smurphy and my tool as a service to the community, trying to help the community. Everybody has his/her own preference and we can all be happy since different tools are available.
Hell, if I had the time for it, I would try to work together with smurphy: somehow copying mechs easily between the two programs so everybody can use either tool for its strength: smurphy has the ease in sharing, mine will be a much more in-depth analysis of a mech performance. Considering my wishlist, I wont have much time for it anytime soon, but I'm open to the suggestion.
Since this is a community and not a presidential race, there is no need to be negative about something you don't like. All you have to do is ignore it, if nobody likes the program there will be no suggestions for new features or other things.
Why should anybody's view be more important than others? I prefer "live and let live".
