Its an impartial poll, with completely balanced options, that gauges the overall community response. The mods/devs would be silly to shutdown a thread like this, as it is this kind of input that is supposed to come out of a beta test.

It won't be the poll that gets this thread locked.

This was a pretty mediocre patch.

Disappointed because of no change to jumpjets. They are just pointless atm, on all but the lightest mechs. They are more like "generate-dust-jets"...

Then there's the spider, not a mech for me, but will sure as hell exploit the **** out of the netcode. Why add another amazingly fast mech, it could be implemented after the netcode fix.

I don't understand PGI's general priorities. There is a whole bunch of mechs already, but there is only four maps. Even great core gameplay gets dull on only four (small) maps. No amount of spiders can change that.

Sorry Devs..
I've been backing you to the point of investing $150.00 but without new maps and game modes, you will not see another nickle from me. Do what ever you need to do to but get some new maps out.

"Meh"... I held no grandiose expectations.

No unfounded lofty expectations and subsequently no unreasonable let-down.

Yeah, I think at this point I'm done spending money on this game until I see real fixes, content and balance.

Just a joke. You know a patch sucks when in the patch notes they say a mech has lagg and rubberbanding issues. So if you know this will suck for the over all play experience why are you doing it?

No addressing ECM, even just to make the ranges correct.

No actual netcode fixes, just empty promises of 'next week' and 'seriously guys, we know what we're doing!'

Another ECM+Lagshield abusing light mech that is otherwise garbage without both netcode being fixed and engine limits being removed as well.

And to top it all off: Another money-grubbing paintjob.

No, it just means that they want to test it on the live server.

Dissappointed once again. I was going to purchase some MC's but now i'm not going to bother with it. I'll spend the money on something more entertaining....maybe hookers and some coke. (just kidding,i dont do coke)

See, this I would support, it is a beta after all...

So do the same damned thing with stuff you don't buy too, like weapons fixes, the net code changes, ECM tweaks, etc...

This is a beta, people expect some breakage... people do not expect something like weapon balancing to take 6 weeks, or ECM to go untouched for a month.

Hey guys...they've been on vacation for a month. I think they deserve some slack here.

yes...vacation with all the money we gave them...and this is what they spend it on?

everything has been said already in this thread...no need to repeat the obvious...

It seems these guys are only interested in sucking up money where they can and not doing **** nor caring to make a real game that's actually playable and fun for all. Seriously this game has become a joke. Developers are a joke. We need a new *real* development team, using the UDK. **** cryengine.

I was even considering spending money today if they came through with today's patch...hoping they'd address the long time issues like they said they would....but of course a bunch of empty promises as usual...

*insert betty "uninstalling" sound clip here*

Which is why they delayed the huge one to fix it.

I am done spending money on this game untill they add some real content. Be it CW (which I honestly dont expect for atleast a year if its going to be good, and if its not good I dont want it) or just somthing like private rooms to drop with my friends in. Or even rudementry AI to fight. Baring those fun content additions a plethora of maps and 2 new game types might work. It would have to be atleast that though because what we have now is pethatic.

In b4 ITS JUST A BETA!!!!!! <troll face>

Its very disappointing.... ping dropped a bit from 140 to 150... PPC or ERPPC are 1-2 second lag before firing.... it's worse than ever.... you have to lead even assault mech...

A bit of a mixed bag today, but I'm still somewhat impressed.

I'm happy about another new mech. I was pleasantly surprised by the new modules, and abuse fix that stops d/c stat padders.

The only true disappointment I have is that they seemed to have missed the End of Round Summary screen. While I didn't really expect it because of the silence, I had also been hoping to see Phase 3 matchmaking today.

I hope in the coming days, Bryan Ekman can clean up the Feature Roadmap a bit because it's apparently a bit out of date.

*shrug* the Spider looks like a nice mech, but the only things that will coax me out of my ATL7 are a Direwolf or a Kodiak. Rest of the patch left me ambivalent, but gradual improvementy should be the way things progress.
