released a useless mech
released modules people cant unlock
warned us the new mech is broken and laggy
well we can look on the brightside. they didnt mess up the patch notes like last week. at least it didnt say
-netcode fixed
-CW released
then 5 min later change it and say my bad.

Damn right, it's very disappointing.
About this patch... the only thing that's gonna impact my gameplay? Now that LRMs are gonna be tracking me for 3.5 seconds after I've run out of sight (assuming I can do that and some invincible Raven isn't following me, relaying my location to some ***** pushing a button a kilometer away), AMS (or ECM) is going to be a necessity rather than a choice.

First match after patch: my team 8, enemy team 7. Quality matchmaker. Again we fight against invisible mechs, line of sight exists, but no lock-on possible thanks to ECM. How we still won remains a mystery.
Second match: my team 7, enemy 8 on Caustic. Quality PGI matchmaker. Match goes well, suddenly 3 stealth-atlai appear in my back. Really, those invisible mechs are ridiculous. Fun fact: BAP doesn't help a single bit.
Wanted to exist the game. The old "client can't be closed" bug, here we meet again.
I'm so disappointed...the December-Patch was nice, but this was again a step back.

Don't want people heat sniping put the view distance at 1,000 meters but please keep the details and clean defined looks under heat vision.
No reason for this down grade IMO also if you muted the bright green night vision to a dull green more people would use it.
Also like to have a third option stick figures like in MW2 that would be cool.

The patch didn't include a *single* significant change. The game is the same one we've been playing for months, we know what it's like already. I don't need to log in and try a few games before coming to the realization the netcode is garbage, there's no lobby, I can't choose my maps, etc.

I almost went that route, but then decided to give it a couple plays anyway. First game, matchmaker broke again..couldn't find an 8'th player. Second drop, heatvision map (frustrated sigh), two DC's..but at least they were one-per-team.
The fact that I'm back to perusing the forum should speak volumes in how re-energized this patch got me.

Like the new modules, however, disappointed with the lack of any change to ECM/ECCM.
It makes random games just the same predictable brawl every time... which makes me stop playing due to boredom.
