I wasn't here for that FYI.

Game is beta bro. I wouldn't activate anything until it says otherwise.
The state of the game is dynamic due to the nature of the beta process. It must be known that things are subject to change and currently do not reflect the final product of the game.

So, nothing, they can't claim that the game is playable. I'd be fine if it went off how much time I actually played, but it counts down regardless of if I play or not and this game with its bugs and real bad balance is not playable.

They've always said the game is beta. That's the whole point of the ACTIVATE button. Don't blame them because you were too stupid to wait before activating your premium time. And don't blame them because you were too shortsighted to see what your $120 was going to get you.

Well good to hear you have a lower standard when it comes to a "quality game"we don't. PGI claimed this would be a triple A title. Using beta as a shield to cover their bumpkin. Well I call foul play and hit my button before they released ECM.

How long ago did you walk away? Whenever that was then for what real reason are you in the forums voicing your ideas on how to get the game to a better state? Are you simply here to voice your dissent because getting on during normal business hours would result in this thread getting locked and deleted over an hour ago? If you're unhappy then walk away completely.

The last time i checked this game is playable. if you decided to pay for it then that is your own fault if your not satified with the results you have been presented

This is when I'm on. I could care less if they lock it.

Then if you're unhappy find another hobby to occupy your time, that way you're enjoying what you're doing and not bitter about what you aren't.

This is considered a beta and should be treated as such. So when you (PGI) claim this game is no longer BETA. You should reset and refund premium time wasted when the game unplayable by most.

Why exactly should they do that ? I fail to see your reasoning behind such a statement. When you say the game is unplayable, I say its not. There are some current issues that need to be resolved, yes, but none of them make the game unplayable. At least none of the ones I'm currently aware of. So I think your over exaggerating the issue. I played about a dozen games tonight and other than the usual stuff its none the worse for wear. This isn't the first post I've read about this game being unplayable and every time I see someone state the problems, they are problems that are far from the overstated and out of proportion issues currently affecting the game.

So I'll ask again. What exactly is making this game unplayable for you ?

I'll save you and him some time, it's another "ECM IS OP!" thread.

Could you possibly whine and moan any more Imperius? Just go to your profile page and look at the last five topics you've created.

If you don't like it, walk away. Your $120 is gone. We'd all be better off if you were too.

No, because when they would do it, they would also reset

ALL OF YOUR HARD EARNED EQUIPMENT AND MECH XP.

They said no Reset after open Beta. So no reset.

Well since we are getting into an ECM is OP state of mind, I suppose I'll throw something out there and see what everyone thinks.

Prehaps if the Devs made it so that ECM disallowed the use of LRMs and Streaks on mechs that had the ECM. Keep the missle hardpoints so they can still use SRMs though. I'm not sure if this would even be possible, it just sounds like a good idea to me. It might even alleviate some of the current whining on the forums because I think a lot of it stems from people upset about getting streaked to death by lights.

Just a suggestion though.

LRM's with getting the group tightening (TAG) and bonuses using Artemis. The ECM bubble screws with the targeting of Streaks, so basically those options become dead weight.

Refunds? After you clicked activate premium time? Not unless PGI came to your house and forced you to click that button at gunpoint. There's a reason some of us haven't activated our premium time yet.

Although I do agree, we all did click on the "activate" button for premium time. So...

I did not, to avoid regretting it. The only MCs spent so far have been for an Ilya and the mechbays I need.

To the OP: as others said, Devs has been kind allowing for several weeks of fully FREE premium time and they stated everywhere that once that button was pressed, your premium time and MCs would have gone away for real, be it beta or not.

An optional launch reset should not cause any of the whining ***** above any issues now should it?
