I went off a hill last yesterday while chasing a Hunchback in my CTF-X1 and heard everyone break up in Team Speak as I landed. I asked why and was told I came down on top of the guy and it looked like I was stomping on his head as I was walking off of him.

No screen shot though :P

It's actually a very old bug, that's been around since closed beta.

I aprove of anything that gets them to re-add colision any sooner than planned. All these light pilots that think they are gods gift to mechwarrior will ragesmash their computers when latency and colision are finally resolved (if ever)

You can do the same in in MW:LL

Its just how the engine handles hitboxes and the lack of collision and DFA.

Its also VERY difficult to aim if you're the mech standing on top.

Is the Atlapult a clan mech or IS?

The other day I got wedged into a tight spot with an enemy Atlas and he was at least partially on top of me.
I was in a Spider. It was terrifying.

I did, but I'm stating in general when not using lock-on weapons.

Clearly, Catapults shouldn't be able to ride Atlases, since Atlases aren't stable platforms. However, it's freaking hilarious. Hopefully when they re-implement knockdowns, they'll take a pass at implementing Death From Above as well :P

So then we made a clan refit of the atlas that combines streak 6s, UAC20s, and ECM.

I've seen a few similar bugs lately with positioning & rubber-banding that resulted in both mechs unable to move.

I would not assume this was intentional, the cat probably could not get down.

You're assuming a lot of things, and most of them are wrong.

had this happen the other night on the Frozen City map...I was the bottom :P I was in my Centurion, and I had a Stalker on my head. neither of us could move until we got unlocked.

That was funny.
