Any possible hero catapults on the horizon?? (I know that technically the founder's could be considered a hero) I didn't have the opprotinity to get into the founder's, so I'm really curious whether there are any Cata heros coming or if there are plans for ANY LRM based heros????

The Butterbee is a well known "hero" Catapult.

Too many heavy hero mechs at the moment. Butterbee will have more hard points than existing Catapults without any drawbacks to compensate so it can be a problem. The best they can do to balance it is to probably take out the AMS slot, which really isn't much.

Now that they added a hero light we have everything but assaults covered. I hope itll be an Awesome and not a Stalker or Atlas...for balancing reasons alone.

I frankly dont see them doing Hero versions of the Founder Chassises.

So I'd be highly surprised to see a hero:
Hunchback
Jenner
Atlas
Catapult

Its true that Assault is the only class left without any Hero chassises.

In Other Words: Expect a Hero Stalker (or as a long shot) Hero Awesome soon.

(Then again - they may just release the Highlander and then a Hero Highlander one week later like they did with the Cataphract)

So after useless commando hero you want useless awesome hero? No thanks. It has to be Stalker, or possibly Atlas but I fear the Atlas might be OP.

There is nothing "hero" about the hero mechs. They should have labeled them Icon Mechs instead. The Butterbee is just an A1 with 1 more Missile hardpoint on the arms. People already complain about the A1 being OP with 6 SRM6, can you imagine 8 SRM6?

Or 8 SSRM2.

Or 4 SRM6 and 4 SSRM2. Yikes

CPLT-Buterbee

Just add another SSRM2 to each arm. Weight is already set for it.

Butterbee only carries 4 SRM6's.

You can do that now with the A1 or C4

However as most would agree the Death Knell is Most certainly "NOT" heroic.

If I could only talk them into giving it x4 missile hardpoints - go go gadget x4 SRM4's

Buterbee is CPLT-C1 with 2 more missile slots.

No, it's a C1 with 1 more missile hardpoint in each arm (2 each). It retains the 4 energy hardpoints.

Of the info I misread or at least misunderstood and thought it was an A1 with a quartet (4) in each arm instead of the 3 in each arm.

So it's a C1 with 2 missile hard points in each arm and still keeps the 4 energy hard points? That's preyty bad arsed. I'd pilot it.

+1 for Butterbee... just because I love Catapults... and today I feel like it would be good to have everything just be about me. Thanks.

To make a heropult actually be better than the standard variants, they would have to name it the Godapult, give it three AC20's and excess missile slots, and jam an ECM on there.

Catapults are already hero mechs. *Shrug*

They couldn't add the butterbee and still maintain their stance that hero mechs aren't P2W (Ilya is so borderline I am not sure if I am mad yet or not).

They could add a catapult that has 1 ballistic in each arm, 1 laser in each torso and a head or CT missile slot. That would be different enough from the other cats, but not outshine them either.

Exactly. When people can't bother to read the TRO's to see that the Butterbee is a C1.

If we get the Butterbee as a hero mech, I fully expect my Founder's Cat-C1 to be upgraded to it, free of charge.
