Stop Playing And Buying Mc, It's The Only Way To Make Them Listen.

Bah, why bother explaining it. Look if any of you are not happy, then STOP PLAYING instead of whinning about it.

Hate to tell you but regardless of the amount of forum "whining" your seeing / hearing... I doubt it's indicative of the over-all impression the majority of players feel.
The number of players "playing" and "spending" MC I believe speaks for the majority on this case...
What is indicative of the overall impressions player have, however, is how often it is to fail to find a match when solo dropping in US primetime. Several times today. And how often I'm seeing the same people in game even when pubbing, not just 8mans.
This likely represents a significant drop in player population.

We care about the guy with 1 post more.
Is that seriously what you got from that sentence?
Inference, man. Guy with 1000 posts says something on the forums in the heat of anger - happens all the time, guy cools down, we talk, he says sorry I was pissed or whatever, we move on.
Guy with zero posts goes to the forum, goes to suggestions, and says "I find 'x' really hard to deal with." Does it mean we CARE MORE about this guy? No. It's the fact he made his one and only comment, ever, and it's struggling with something. This means a 100% 'argh, I can't 'y'!" of his posts.
The idea we don't care about you guys is ludicrous - I send massive emails WEEKLY to design and engineering FULL of all of your suggestions. Hell, Thomas was sitting in the forums PMing a guy who was getting a bug, and then figured out how to fix it. If we didn't care, why would he even bother?

I on the other hand enjoy this game so I put in an hour or two a day and buy MC when I feel like it. I support it with my bucks, but if you dont believe in it voting with your feet is probably most effective.
That does not mean there isnt the third track of basically EVERYTHING else in between. Including playing it, posting a lot, and still complaining about parts you dont like. I'd say the more money you invest in the game, the more your opinion is valid. This is the same with the more time F2p players put in. The more "invested" they are in the game the more I think they have to contribute to the discourse. So on this point i disagree with the OP. The people with a thousand posts have some valuable feedback to give.

I wish we lived in some happy, simple, Star-Trek like utopia where money was not necessary and everyone got everything they wanted and a pony too - I really would.
Alas, we do not.
This game, and PGI overall, has to be about the money in order to succeed.
I'm OK with that, for the most part.

1) Provide constructive feedback
but also
2) hit them where it hurts: Use game resources (play - use bandwidth & server up time) while not paying any MC.
I have, in my case, swore to not pay 1 cent for anything until the most critical problems are fixed.
-> Netcode, Matchmaking, Lobby & in game VOIP, basic content for an actual public launch (Community Warfare or at least 2 other modes, and more than 4 maps), balancing ECM, Collision back. Oh, and the memory Leaks ...
Point 2 is flawed. They already have a feel for what their peak server loads are, so they probably have a bandwidth allotment that covers that, and they pay a flat rate regardless of whether they're at capacity or not. Not playing sends a stronger message, because playing everyday is, to them, an affirmation of quality.
I really want to like this game. I like robot games, and there aren't many out there. At it's core, the game feels like you're driving a big hulking robot bristling with weapons, and I want it to succeed because it's the only thing on the market that satisfies that itch. But there's just too many problems that aren't getting fixed for me to enjoy this anymore.

don't let the forums get to you. or well, do. but don't catch SWTORitis. the people who are complaining have not yet given up on the game, or they would not speak at all. but seriously, it would be nice if you would talk to us. where is ask the devs and stuff? and please tell us where CW is, even if you have to say "it's not going to happen for 2 months, it's implementation is ******" that's better than a "..." deafening silence. the game can yet become p. good, don't give up.

havn't we seen quite a few posts from devs saying that they aren't worried because player count is rising/staying the same?
I think I would be pretty shocked if my games player population plummeted by 50% overnight and stayed that way for a week or two.
Honestly I am a little disheartened, I have seen quite a few friends quit already and see others on less and less. If most of my friends stop playing I probably will too. I am sure I will check in from time to time, but how many others who quit will do the same?
Lots of free to play games out right now and with how big the market is, there are new games popping up all the time.

Yes cos you're the sole indicator of player numbers and the state of the game right?
I'll see you - I play 100% pug and there have been times where I've wanted to talk to players after a match and will never see those players again cos every match has new names in it. But that's me and I'm not making broad bs statements about the state of he game.

If you care about us so much, then why does Reddit get info on why the changes to heavy energy weapons has been delayed past "early to mid January" yet the command chair post hasn't been updated since December, even though Paul stated that he'd keep us updated?

Well, technically I bought $7 worth of MC for another mech bay since I was getting tired of only having four. Still.

- Also fixing all the bugs listed in the known issues of the previous patches and current.
- Also make streaks lose lock after each volley and vastly nerf ECM.
- Also make everything destructible on the levels.
- And add laser wounds, AC rounds craters and missile scratches when the mech gets damaged.
And why legs of the light mechs are still getting damaged, you said you are going to fix it?
And give me my Timber Wolf already
