It'd be hard to come up with much in the way of variants, with the KGC-000, KGC-000b and KGC-0000 basically the same thing, the KGC-010 the only other option besides the KGC-001 which won't show up until 3052 (and then only in the hands of Comstar).

It would be really interesting to see the redesigned artwork for this one, given the that the picture is ugly as sin and it appears to not actually have a waist for torso twisting. Original BT artwork can be... yea; say whatever else you want about PGI, but Battlemechs have never looked this good before.

I guess it could pack more firepower than an Atlas, but be even more clumsy than a Stalker. That's a pretty specialized niche, I'd enjoy shooting at it.

in all honesty, at some point in the far future, when all the standard, Iconic mechs have been released - there really should be a three month period where they program in a set of misfit mechs. The firestarter, the quads, maybe slip in a few of the re-seen or even un-seen if someone has gotten the stick unlodged from inside their ***, the crab, the hatchetman and axe-man. A few of those ridiculous mechs or the really horrifically ugly mechs - mechs that no one in their right mind would play except for fun and nostalgia.

maybe as bobbleheads you can put in your cockpit, although I'd much prefer working actual battlemechs of course

can anyone remember any of their other favorite crazy-mechs?

Maybe once the game has been around for awhile they can do some sort of "special anniversary" mechs. Mackie would be a good one, and I'd be surprised if they didn't spring an Urbanmech on us eventually just for the lulz.
